Hi all and welcome to another week on the\u00a0Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n

Thinking Of You<\/span><\/h1>\n

The 11th November is Veterans Day, in Commonwealth countries it is known as\u00a0Armistice Day. In 1918 it signified the end of the 1st World War and is traditionally a day to remember all of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.<\/p>\n

This is Nikki’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight. Thank you so much for all of your fabulous creations over these past weeks Nikki,<\/a> it has been a real pleasure having you along with us.<\/p>\n

Nikki<\/a>\u00a0made a card using a Tim Holtz Ornate Frame<\/a> and Leaf Blueprint Stamp and Die Set<\/a><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a set of encouraging cards using Echo Park’s Feather dies<\/a>, Dina Wakley Washi tape<\/a>, and Infusions colored stain in A Bit Jaded<\/a>, Emerald Isle<\/a>, and Are You Cerise<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> started out making a thinking of you card, but changed her mind when she stamped the lovely Simon Says Stamp You Matter stamp<\/a> and instead made a scrapbooking layout. It is a perfect stamp to express that you are thinking of someone else and that that person matters.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a>\u00a0has interpreted this challenge in a non-traditional way! Her “thinking of you” project is dedicated\u00a0 to all those who love the celebration \u00a0of today: Halloween! To do this she has created a very spooky home decor with \u00a0Lost Zombie <\/a>\u00a0coming out from \u00a0Idea-ology Wooden Vignette Coffin <\/a>in his small garden enclosed by Gothic Gate<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a>\u00a0was thinking about her daughter, who is in Peru teaching, when she created her mixed media panel using the Tim Holtz Flower Garden<\/a> stamp set and Tammy Tutterow Picnic<\/a> embossing folder to add some texture.<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> was thinking of friends near and far, and created a bunch of these ‘miss you’ cards using the Tim Holtz Flower Garden Stamps<\/a> and Framelits<\/a> dies.<\/p>\n

As we approach November 11th,\u00a0Emma<\/a>\u00a0is thinking of all the brave heroes from around the world and created a panel in commemoration, using her favourite Globe die<\/a> and combining it with the Tattered Florals die<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> was thinking of very special “birds of a feather” friends who live in faraway places and created an Art Journal Page using Dina Wakley’s \u00a0Scribbly Small Birdies<\/a> and Memory Box Woodland Branch Die<\/a><\/p>\n

Lols<\/a>\u00a0is thinking of all of the servicemen and women who have been injured or lost in battle. Traditionally poppies are the flower of choice but I have chosen to use Tim Holtz Wildflowers<\/a> for my remembrance card.<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a>\u00a0was thinking of herself as a little girl and made a project using Spellbinders Rose Creation Dies<\/a> and Distress Paints<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> made a Thinking of You in Paris shaker card \u00a0with Seth Apter’s Robo Ring die<\/a>, Simon Says Stamp One With Nature<\/a> stamp set, and 28 Lilac Lane Toasted Graham<\/a> embellishments.<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> created a mixed media tag with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Crayons<\/a> colored background and embellished using Prima Flowers Grunge Butterfly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> was in the mood for some pinks, and made a sweet card using the Swiss Dots<\/a> stencil with Transparent Texture Paste<\/a>.

Zoey<\/a> used Tim Holtz Found Relatives cards<\/a>\u00a0and Tim Holtz Distress Paint<\/a>\u00a0to decorate this ATC<\/p>\n
