It’s A Stitch Up<\/span><\/h2>\n

We would like to see a ‘sewing’ themed project this week. You can use either sewing themed stamps, dies etc or you could add real or faux stitching! Whatever you decide to use, we will be looking forward to seeing what you make!<\/p>\n

\u00a0Chris<\/a>\u00a0used stitching on her\u00a0tag made using a Tim Holtz Attic Treasures Cling Stamp Set<\/a>

Andrea<\/a> made a matchbook sewing kit with a Tim Holtz Matchbook Die<\/a>, Paper Artsy’s Jade\u00a0Infusions Stain<\/a> and Tim Holtz’s Block Talk Lowercase Alphabet\u00a0Die Set.<\/a><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> often forgets to use fabric, but really loves it. This week, she made two cards with fabric piecing of adorable Dina Wakley Scribbly Girlies<\/a> stamps. There is also some fun messy stitching. The papers are from Tim Holtz Correspondence pad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> admits thet she’s not very able \u00a0to create with fabric and stitches ! Today she has tried to add some stitched detail to her tags made using\u00a0Idea-ology Textile Surfaces Paperie<\/a>, Distress stains sprays <\/a>\u00a0and two Sizzix dies: Layered leaf <\/a>and Feather duo<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a>\u00a0created a spooky mixed media panel using the Undertaker<\/a> stamp set and several Sizzix thinlits dies from the new Tim Holtz 2016 Halloween<\/a> collection.<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> did some messy stitching using some paper made with stamps from the Dina Wakley Boxed Faces<\/a> and Funky Shapes<\/a> sets.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>‘s project combines two Tim Holtz stamp sets ~\u00a0Ladies and Gentleman<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Dapper<\/a>\u00a0to create a card fit for any sartorial gentleman.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a>\u00a0created a canvas panel top for her sewing box using the Sewing Blueprint Stamp Set <\/a>and decorated with flowers and leaves die cut with the Plush Blooming Heart dies<\/a><\/p>\n

Lols<\/a>\u00a0 made a card using a Baby Blueprint Stamp Set<\/a> and stitched the edges using a sewing machine.<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>planted some Flower Garden<\/a> and Wildflowers <\/a>on a stenciled and Infusions <\/a>treated double canvas tags.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> went for a vintage look with her sewing themed Flip Frame from Tim Holtz<\/a>, along with the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Vogue stamp<\/a> and Simon Says Stamp Stitched Oval Frame<\/a>. Maura admits she has never attempted to sew a Vogue pattern in her life!<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> made a mixed media tag with a cute\u00a0Tim Holtz Crazy Dog<\/a> image, and the edges of the tag were stamped using Tim Holtz Patchwork Pieces.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> did a little stitching up around the edges of her card with the\u00a0Bo Bunny Stitches stamp set<\/a> and Pewter Embossing Powder<\/a>

Zoey<\/a> used Clearsnap Aladine Pigment <\/a>and My Mind’s Eye My Story<\/a> to create this mini album<\/p>\n
