Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s Thom’s <\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thom<\/a> made a birthday card for his great nephew Giovanni who turns 2 in June. The letters were die cut with Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Classic Upper<\/a> and Alphanumeric Bold<\/a>. The gift boxes were made with the present in the Tim Holtz Celebrate <\/a>set. For the 4 legged friends, Thom used the Cat and Elephant stamp from Simon Says Stamp Wild Love<\/a>. There is white tissue paper inside each gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> doesn’t know how friendly bears are (and hopes she won’t find out), but she does love Dina Wakley’s Scribbly Bears stamp set<\/a>. She used AALL & Create’s Driplight die<\/a> for some funky edges. She also used Tim Holtz’s Cello Sticker Tape<\/a> and Collage Layer Frames<\/a> for added dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a piggy bank card using Tim Holtz Childhood Blueprint stamp set.<\/a> The sentiment comes from Simon Says Stamp Beautiful and Curious<\/a> and the sequins are from the pretty Opal Rainbow set.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created a card featuring Luka, a super cute cat by Lavinia Stamps<\/a>. To create this landscape, she used other stamps from the same brand: Tree of Courage<\/a>, Faelorn Rest. For coloring, she chose Lavinia Stamps Elements Premium Dye Ink Pads<\/a>: Lemon Drop, Mulberry, Mermaid, Pixie Green. For stamping, she used Simon Says Stamp Nocturne Black VersaFine Clair Ink Pad.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> always loves a four legged friend, especially a snarky cat. She used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Snarky Cat stamps<\/a> and colored them in lightly with Distress Watercolor Pencils<\/a>. She placed them over a background of Peeled Paint<\/a> and Rusty Hinge<\/a> Distress Oxides. She added some texture with the Halftone<\/a> stencil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> went crazy with this challenge and created a set of mini gift envelopes<\/a> and a matching card<\/a> using the Stampers Anonymous Mini Crazy Cats and Dogs<\/a>, Crazy Thoughts<\/a> and Mini Crazy Things<\/a> stamp set by Tim Holtz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decorated a Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous #8 Etcetera Tag<\/a> inspired by childhood memories of fun times spent with her sister and their much loved four legged friend. She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Pink Palette Collection paper<\/a>, Mosaic Mini Layering stencil from Set 28<\/a>, Simon Says Stamp Long Stem Florals<\/a> stamp set and co-ordinating dies<\/a>, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Dolls<\/a> and Sizzix Handwritten Love<\/a> and Tiny Type Lower<\/a> Thinlits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> as a cats lover made a tag with a cat of course. She used her favorite Stamperia Furry Friends collection: 8×8 Paper <\/a>and Assorted Die Cuts<\/a>. She also added in the background AALL & Create Fly Around A5 Rub Ons<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> headed to her art journal again this week to celebrate her grand pups and kitties. She used AALL and Create’s You’re Pawsome <\/a>and Just Memories<\/a> stamps along with Simon Says Stamp’s Pop of Color stamps. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a cute birthday card using The Greeting Farm Birthday Cats Clear Stamps<\/a> and Rainbow Splash Cardstock Rainbow Pack<\/a> on the background, and colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET A Markers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Distress Paint<\/a> to create her background and mixed with Distress Oxide Spray<\/a>. She added crackle texture<\/a> through the flourish stencil<\/a> and then highlighted the cracks with Foundry Wax<\/a>. The main image is from Found Relatives<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
