Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Emboss It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to make something that is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOT A CARD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming back the lovely Thom Santilla <\/a>into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thom <\/a>recycled a couple of old frames and colored them with\u00a0Antique Linen<\/a> and\u00a0Black Soot Distress Paint<\/a>. He then used a \u00a0sanding disc<\/a>\u00a0on the edges to show the lighter color. He painted Hitch Fasteners\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Hinge Clips\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0and coated with\u00a0Glossy Accents<\/a>. For the background he used\u00a0Collage Strips<\/a>, \u00a0 and added Photo Booth<\/a>\u00a0images and some extra\u00a0hardware<\/a> for the focus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> decorated a tin and made a fabric ribbon to tie around it. She used Tim’s Mini Glitch<\/a> and Glitch 2<\/a> stamp sets for the images and sewed the ribbon using Tim’s Eclectic Elements Multi Collage fabric<\/a>. She added drips of Tim’s Fluorescent Alcohol Ink<\/a> and his Chitchat stickers<\/a> to finish it off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a mini book from file folders die cut with Tim Holtz Vault Noteworthy set.<\/a> The book was stamped with various sentiment, texture and image stamps by Tim Holtz, such as the butterfly on the front which comes from the Flutter set<\/a>. The dots were stamped with Tim’s Tiny Textures.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara <\/a>continues to be inspired by spring! Today, she created a series of ATCs using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Floristry CMS485<\/a> stamp paired with the Simon Says Stamp Floristry Wafer Dies sss485<\/a> . She colored the backgrounds with Ranger Ink Distress Spray Stain <\/a>and some Stickles <\/a>for sparkle. She cut the ATCs with the Sizzix Collector Thinlits Dies 665926.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a tag using the Tim Holtz Halftone and Rings as her background to create a resist. She blended Evergreen Bough<\/a> and Ripe Persimmon<\/a> Distress Inks. She added a Photobooth <\/a>Photo and a sentiment from the Small Talk Stickers<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> altered an idea-ology Mini Clipboard<\/a> using many of the amazing products from Tim Holtz. She covered the board with the Neutral 8 x 8 Paper Palette Collection<\/a> before adding layers of detail including Paper Dolls<\/a>, a Quote Chip Label<\/a> and Etcetera Trims<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created an Easter Wishes Wall Panel using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Rectangles Panel<\/a>, Linked Circles<\/a> and Stitches<\/a> Layering Stencils, Simon Says Stamp A Little Artsy stamp set<\/a>, Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Feathered Friends<\/a>, Wildflower Stems 1<\/a>, Alphanumeric Bulletin<\/a> and Handwritten Celebrate<\/a> Thinlits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made an industrial tag using for the background Tim Holtz Idea-ology Collage Paper Archive<\/a> glued with Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium Matte<\/a>. She made up the composition with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Strips<\/a> and Stencil Cards<\/a> and Cello Sticker Tape<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made two memorydex\/follodex cards using tim Holtz’s Inquisitive <\/a>and the Professor <\/a>stamps. She created a background with Tim Holtz Collage Papers Archives <\/a> and distress paints like Tim’s Fossilized Amber.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil Hipster Bunny, Plaid and Polkadot<\/a> on the background, then colored it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 24 COLOR Set<\/a> and decorated it with May Arts White Wrinkled Faux Silk Ribbon with Cut<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> made her background blending Distress ink<\/a> and Distress spray stain<\/a>. She also added texture thought layering stencils<\/a> and Distress Crayons<\/a>. The focal piece are layering elements from the Ideaology Collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
