Layering Stencils are becoming more and more popular, so if you have some, we would love to see them used!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alison <\/a>:<\/a> <\/a>There are three stencils in action in Alison’s tag trio – Autumn<\/a> and Ornate<\/a> by Tim Holtz and her own Grassy<\/a> stencil from PaperArtsy.  The autumnal colours are Distress Inks<\/a> with a hint of Rusty Car Infusions<\/a>.  Stamping detail in the leafy background comes from the Field Notes<\/a> and Professor 2<\/a> sets.  Alison used the Ornate stencil to create some decorative tapes which add a lovely touch of contrasting blue, echoed by some Uncharted Mariner<\/a> inking.  And some minimal collaging with Idea-ology Photobooth<\/a>, Film Strip Ribbon<\/a>, Curator Labels<\/a>, Snippets Number Strips<\/a> and Small Talk Stickers<\/a> allows those background layers to shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea <\/a>used stencils from Tim Holtz (THMM182<\/a> and THMM113<\/a>) and Kate Crane (PS483<\/a>) for her card. The card and all the die-cut shapes are from AALL & Create’s Retro Numbers<\/a> die set. She finished it off with a sentiment from Dina Wakley’s Ledger 2<\/a> paper set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an autumn card using Simon Says Stamp Tumbling Leaves<\/a> and Tim Holtz Bubble<\/a> stencils. The large sentiment was die cut with Simon Says Stamp Capital B Beautiful die<\/a> and the sticker is from Tim Holtz idea-ology Metallic Sticker Book.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created two tags using several Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stencils: Bones and Batty from Mini Set 61<\/a>, Deco Arch<\/a>, and Script from Mini Set 23<\/a>. In the center, she used two portraits from the Idea-ology 2025 Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls<\/a> pack. She used some Ranger Ink Distress Spray Stain<\/a> in traditional Halloween colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a tag with tons of Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencils including the Mini Stencil Set 33<\/a> and the Mini Stencil Set and Mini Stencil Set 55<\/a>. She added a sentiment from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Note Quotes<\/a> set, and then finished her tag with leaves from the Simon Says Stamp Rose Branch Wafer dies<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a card with an Autumnal feel using Simon Says Stamp Red Maple set of layering stencils<\/a> and Red Maple Wafer dies<\/a> from the Give Thanks November Card Kit<\/a> along with Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Set 48<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a cute tag using two stencils on the background: Simon Says Stamp Bold Geometrics<\/a> and The Crafter’s Workshop Hole Punch<\/a>. She colored and fussy cut the cute bird from Papert Artsy Kate Crane KC009 stamp set <\/a>and added her favorite greenery from Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Stamp KCM013<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made a Halloween tag using Dina Wakley Media Tag<\/a>s, Simon Says Stamp Grid Stencil<\/a>, Tim Holtz Harlequin stencil, <\/a> and the Tim Holtz Mischievous Cats dies.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a tag using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 26<\/a> on the background, and colored it with Tim Holtz Distress 12 Oxide Sprays Bundle 3<\/a> and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Paper Dolls Mini<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used her favorite Tim Holtz Layering Stencils<\/a> for her background. She then added Distress Spray Stain<\/a>, Distress Ink<\/a> and embellished her tag with a Photo Portrait<\/a>, stickers<\/a> and bits of Ideaology.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
