Zoey\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0made this for her best friend, Chiara, to let her know how much important she is!<\/p>\n

I used a mixture of\u00a0Peacock Feathers<\/a>\u00a0,\u00a0Vintage Photo<\/a>\u00a0,\u00a0Walnut Sta<\/a>in\u00a0Weathered Wood<\/a>\u00a0,Antiqued Bronze<\/a>,\u00a0Shaded Lilac<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Black Soot<\/a>\u00a0Distress Paints to achieve this patina look. For the cluster my favorite\u00a0Crowded Attic<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Postale Tissue Paper<\/a>\u00a0worked perfectly! I distressed the edge with\u00a0a\u00a0Paper Distresser<\/a>\u00a0and then used\u00a0Walnut Stain<\/a>\u00a0around the edges. The cord is braided using\u00a0Hemptique Natural Bamboo cord<\/a>\u00a0and the decorations are all by Tim Holtz Idea-ology.<\/p>\n

Home is the place where Andrea<\/a> has always found her best friends.<\/p>\n

How blessed am I to have my besties related to me?\u00a0 I have always loved being home with the people I love and I wanted to pay homage to that homey feeling by making three little houses.\u00a0 I used the Hero Arts 3D Fancy House Die<\/a> and did a nifty trick with my Sizzix Big Shot<\/a> when I cut them to make them into varying heights.\u00a0 I decorated them with some wonderful paper from Webster’s Pages Hall Pass collection<\/a> and with some Simple Stories Carpe Diem Illustrated Life stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> hopes her boys will still be best friends when they are older.<\/p>\n

I wanted to scrap this year’s Christmas photo, since I might forget to do so when it is again Christmas. The background was created with stamps<\/a> from Prima and watercolours. I embellished the page with various Simon Says Stamp die cuts, such as the Sketch Trees<\/a>, and some more stamping<\/a>. There are also some stenciled clouds and hearts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a>\u00a0thinks that friendship is one of the most important feelings \u00a0for each of us!<\/p>\n

I believe that the distance is not a problem \u00a0for the true friends: the feeling is the most important thing! I decided to create a Burlap Panel <\/a>with a lot of things Tim Holtz Idea-ology<\/a>: Found relatives<\/a> image,Gilded accents Remnant Rubs<\/a>\u00a0on the frame, Ephemera pack vellum Expedition<\/a> and the beautiful butterfly by Sizzix<\/a>! I think I’ll give as a gift \u00a0to my best friend!<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a>\u00a0made this card for one of those friends who will help you out with just about anything.\"cheiron-<\/a><\/p>\n

I made this fun friendship card using a sentiment from the Tim Holtz Way with Words<\/a> set and a photo from Tim’s Photobooth<\/a> cards. \u00a0The background was created by adding Distress Inks in Wilted Violet<\/a>, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin to my background, and an accent from the Gilded Foil remnant rubs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0had so much fun creating this card, perfect for that special person in your life!<\/p>\n

I wanted to make a fun project this week and when it comes to fun, there’s nothing better than those Bird Crazy stamps<\/a> which always make me smile! So, with the help of two of my feathered best friends, fondly renamed as “the tweethearts”, I created a large tag shaped card and based it around the Tim Holtz Wonderful Life stamp<\/a>\u00a0which I\u00a0mounted onto an inky background and layers of Metallic Kraft Core Card Stock<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lols<\/a>\u00a0used a canvas created at the Simon Says Stamp CREATE event <\/a>for her inspiration to make one for her best friend.<\/p>\n

The lovely Shari Carroll <\/a>designed a beautiful canvas for the Create Event and I was lucky enough to make one too. My best friend loved it too so I made this along similar lines for her. I started with a 6×6″ canvas and primed with White Gesso<\/a>, I then splattered with Tumbled Glass<\/a>, Black Marble<\/a>, and Pale Tomato <\/a>inks. I then used White Embossing Paste<\/a> a Splatters Stencil<\/a> and a sprinkling of Pumice Stone Distress Glitter<\/a>. I used a Butterfly Duo Stamp and Embossing Set <\/a>\u00a0a Hearts Die<\/a>\u00a0 and a Scribbles and Splatt Die<\/a> to decorate the canvas. I hope she likes it!<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> is scrapbooking her mountain adventures with her hubby.<\/p>\n

I made my husband a scrapbook of our camping adventures out west to give to him at Christmas. I loved using the We R Memory Keepers photo sleeves<\/a> in a wide range of layouts. They really sped up the process! I used up a lot of paper scraps in my stash with these too. The Pitt pens<\/a> are perfect for journaling, and my go to black pens. Loved looking back on our adventure together.<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media art journal page.<\/p>\n

I made a friendship themed art journal page with some mixed media elements this week. The background of the page was colored with Distress Paints<\/a>, and stenciled with Distress Spray<\/a> and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil<\/a>. The sentiments were stamped with Simon Says Stamp Oh Happy Day<\/a> and Clearsnap<\/a> black ink pad.<\/p>\n

\nIt was a while ago I played in my art journal and with my Gelatos<\/a>. I so love the drippage effect you get with those. To create some more dimension, I’ve applied some Embossing Paste<\/a> with the Doily<\/a> stencil.\u00a0Underneath I’ve\u00a0added\u00a0a layer of Gesso<\/a>, else the Gelatos won’t\u00a0blend as nice.<\/p>\n

Suzz<\/a>\u00a0 was inspired to use an embroidery hoop this week.<\/p>\n

\"OLYMPUS<\/a><\/p>\n

I decided to create a wedding \/ anniversary inspired hoop.\u00a0 What a lovely keepsake for a couple.\u00a0 The background is a stenciled pattern using Ranger Distress Ink Victorian Velvet <\/a>and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil – Flourish<\/a>. \u00a0 I think it is sweet when you see couples who are best friends and the Tim Holtz Idea-Ology – Found Relatives<\/a> has the lovely vintage couple all dressed up in their finery for their official pose.<\/p>\n
