It\u2019s Thom’s<\/a>  last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thom<\/a> started with a page from Stamperia Around the World <\/a>for his background and cut outs, he then chose photos from Idea Ology Snapshots <\/a> and added Ranger Distressed grit paste<\/a> for the sand and some Distressed Paint Stormy Sky<\/a>. He attached it to the mini clipboard from Sizzix Vault Noteworthy<\/a> He stamped some things from Stampers Anonymous Correspondence<\/a> in the background, he used the larger Idea Ology Pocket Watches<\/a> , the lettering from the sentiment is from the Sizzix Alphanumeric Tiny Type Lower<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> mixed the color blue into her tag and wrote a blue-sounding sentiment to express how many kids feel about summer. She used AALL & Create’s Intricatags die set<\/a> and AALL & Create’s Numberama die set<\/a>. She decorated the tag using Tim Holtz’s Remnants<\/a> and Grunged<\/a> stamp sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a mixed media seaside tag. The background was done with Ranger’s Gesso<\/a> and Opaque Texture Paste.<\/a> The sentiments were stamped with Tim Holtz Tiny Text,<\/a> except for the word ‘summer’, which comes from Simon Says Stamp Forest Scenery.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a background with the Tim Holtz Mosaic<\/a> stencil and Distress Embossing Glazes in Tumbled Glass<\/a> and Prize Ribbon<\/a>. She sprayed it with Frayed Burlap<\/a> Distress Spray Stain. She completed her card with the Seth Apter Word Wafers 1 Thinlits<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created an Art Journal page using Tim Holtz\/Idea-ology Snapshots<\/a>, Photographic<\/a> and Archives Collage Paper<\/a>, Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Sets 9<\/a> , 43<\/a> and 46<\/a> with Distress Oxide inks and Distress Opaque<\/a> and Translucent Grit Paste<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a summer scene using Spellbinders Set Sail Etched Dies<\/a> and several shades of blue Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>. She cut out the boats from Tom Holtz Idea-ology 8×8 Paper Stash Black Kraft Stock<\/a> and added colorful pieces on top.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> worked one of her favorite summer songs into her art journal this week. She often finds herself singing Summertime from Porgy and Bess. She used Simon Says Stamp’s Old Letter Background stamp <\/a>, Paper Artsy’s Hot Picks Printed Tissue<\/a>, and added blues with Simon Says Stamp’s Ocean <\/a>and Aegean<\/a> inks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Sea Land 8×8 Paper<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Waffle Flower Beach Tote Clear Stamp and Die Set<\/a> and Tim Holtz idea-ology MACHINERY HEADS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> decorated her tag using Distress Spray Stain<\/a> for a vibrant base, then added contrasting elements with Mini Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>. To build texture, she incorporated images from the Stampers Anonymous Classics 1<\/a> set along with a few Layering Stencils<\/a>. She finished the piece by die-cutting elements from the Timeless<\/a><\/em> collection by Stamperia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
