Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Red\/White\/Blue Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FUN WITH PAINT<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Paper Artsy<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming back the lovely Thom Santilla<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thom<\/a> personalised a notebook cover using Tim Holtz Backdrops #2 Papers<\/a> and a painted panel using Paper Artsy Duck Eggs<\/a> and Candy Floss Acrylic Paints <\/a>and a Kate Crane Stencil<\/a>. He used an Idea-ology Baseboard Frame<\/a> and Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Perspective Stamp<\/a> for the butterflies. He finished with a sentiment from Idea ology Quote Chips\/Theories<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> used PaperArtsy stamps from some of her favorite designers for her bright painty tag (the shape of which came from Waffle Flower’s Nesting Tags<\/a> die set). She used Kate Crane’s KC014<\/a> stamp along with Seth Apter’s EM124<\/a> and EM105<\/a> stamps. She loves using Dina Wakley’s acrylic paints<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a tag using watercolor paint, gouache and Paper Artsy Infusions Colore<\/a>d<\/a> Stain The Sage <\/a>and In The Navy.<\/a> The grasses were stamped with Paper Artsy Alison Bomber Winter Umbels<\/a> and Winter Grasses<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> loves playing with paints! This week she had fun with Paper Artsy Mattints<\/a>, mixed with Ranger Ink Distress Texture Paste Crackle opaque<\/a>. To create her tag she chose stamps and stencils from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous: Perspective, Flourish and Latticework<\/a>, Noteworthy, Nature and Ringer<\/a>, the Mini Stencil 9<\/a> and the Mini Stencil 55<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> made a simple mixed media card using PaperArtsy Fresco Paints<\/a> and Tim Holtz Distress Brayer<\/a> to create the background, applied detail with paint through PaperArtsy Kate Crane PS427 Stencil<\/a>, added a stamped image using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Embroidery<\/a> and Idea-ology Metallic Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a set of colorful tags using for the background Paper Artsy Seth Apter Printed Tissue pt06<\/a> which she painted with Stamperia Allegro Acrylic Paints<\/a>. Then she added birds from Tim Holtz Sizzix Silhouette Birds<\/a> and painted them with Tim Holtz Ranger<\/a> <\/a>Distress Paint Abandoned Coral<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> created a set of memorydex cards inspired by Seth Apter. She used several paints such as Paper Artsy Kiwi Gold<\/a> and Rusty.<\/a> Layers were buildt up with tissue paper, stencils, and stamps like Seth Apter’s Paper Artsy EM 109<\/a> and EM 128 <\/a>mini stamps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a tag using Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Stencil<\/a> and Paper Artsy JOFY Stencil<\/a>on the background, and colored it with Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 6<\/a> and Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Paper Artsy Blank Tissue Paper<\/a> to add interest to her background. She also used Distress Ink<\/a> + Paint<\/a> and some Tim Holtz Ideaology epehemera<\/a>. She finished off her panel by adding Paper Artsy Fresco Finish<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
