Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Hip Hop Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tag It<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Studio Light.<\/a> You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming the lovely Fiona Whitehead<\/a>  into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiona<\/a> made a couple of tags using a Studio Light Nature’s Dream 2 Thistle Clear Stamp<\/a>. For the background she smooshed Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Inks<\/a>. She used Black Soot Distress Oxide<\/a> to color the edges and added some text from an old dictionary and some twine to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Andrea’s<\/a> tag features products from Studio Light’s Art by Marlene collection<\/a>, namely Funky Die Cut Paper Tags<\/a> and the Postage Madness paper pack<\/a>. She also used some die-cut stars from AALL & Create’s Galactic Edges die set<\/a> and some Lindy’s Industrial Chic magical powders<\/a> to bring this tag to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a tag with happy colors using the Studio Light Timeless Peony stamp set.<\/a> The sentiment was die cut with Simon Says Stamp Simple Thanks die<\/a> and stamped with Simon Says Stamp Thank You Basics.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created a mini tag album using a Studio Light <\/a>Tag Journal dies. She chose Tim Holtz Idea-ology Memoranda 8 x 8 Paper Stash 2025 Vault<\/a> as the background of her tags. She added some butterflies with Stampers Anonymous Clear Stamps and Stencil Flutter, Floral and Trellis.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a tag using a sticker from the Studio Light Colorful Elements Washi<\/a> Sheets from Art by Marlene. She created some painty layers on a Dina Wakley Media 4 inch Square Tags<\/a> and added some Dina Wakley Media Paint<\/a> and Transparency<\/a> layers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> used Studio Light Paper Elements People and Botanics Grunge Collection<\/a> to create a scene on a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag<\/a>. She inked the background using Distress Spray Stains<\/a> and Mica Sprays before adding idea-ology pieces, including Flourish Adornments<\/a> and Clippings Stickers<\/a> to complete her make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decorated a Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Mini Etcetera Tag<\/a> using Studio Light Grunge Collection 8″ x 8″ Paper Pad<\/a>, Grunge Paper Elements Frames and Tags<\/a> and used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Script Mini Layering Stencil from Set 49<\/a>, Distress Grit Paste<\/a> with Bundled Sage<\/a> and Walnut Stain<\/a> Distress Embossing Glazes to add texture and interest on the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a tag using Studio Light Ungerwater Party Clear Stamp<\/a> on the background, and colored it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 COLOR Se<\/a>t and Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET D Markers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Studio Light Essential Wax beads<\/a> and the Hemp Cord<\/a> to decorate her tag. The stamps are from Spring Sprung<\/a> and the thinlits are from Wildflowers<\/a> by Sizzix — clearly recalling the Alice in Wonderland theme!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
