Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Night Sky Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USE YOUR FAVORITE TECHNIQUE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Dyan Reaveley aka Dylusions<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming the lovely Rox aka Red Dirt Crafter <\/a>into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rox’s<\/a> favorite technique is to collage! She created this fabulous collage using Dylusions Collage Sheets Set 4<\/a> and machine stitched to add extra detail. She also added extra colour using markers and a Gold Pen<\/a>. The quote is from Dina Wakleys Typed Ledgers<\/a>.  She then mounted the panel onto a black card stitched around the edges, now it’s ready to add to her Dylusions Journal<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> loves to paint and add collage scraps. She made a journal page in her Dylusions Small Creative Journal<\/a> and used Dylusions Cherry Pie Shimmer Paint<\/a> for some pops of pink. She also utilized AALL & Create’s Rose Reverie Ephemera<\/a> and Power Words Washi Tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> has too many favorite techniques to pick one and made a mixed media background with paint, splatters, script stamping, dots and a bunch of sentiments. The page was done in her favorite Dylusions journal, namely the Small Creative Journal<\/a>. The Simon Says Stamp Chelsea Butterflies <\/a>were die cut from inky left-overs (another favorite) and misted with Dylusions Dirty Martini Shimmer Spray. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara’s<\/a> favorite technique is stenciling! She made a card using Ranger Dylusions Large Dot Grid Stencil<\/a> in the background along with Distress Texture Paste Opaque. <\/a>She colored everything with Distress Ink pad<\/a> and Distress Spritz<\/a>. For the center she chose the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous French Garden CMS 487<\/a> stamp set paired with the Simon Says Stamp French Garden Wafer Dies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath’s<\/a> favorite technique is to create one layer pages in her Dylusions Small Creative Journal<\/a> using stamps and stencils. She used Tim Holtz\/Ranger Distress Oxide Sprays<\/a>, Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> and Distress Grit Paste Opaque<\/a> with Dylusions Dyalog Quilt It Stencils<\/a>, Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Curiosity Shop<\/a>, Specimen<\/a> and Simon Says Stamp Distressed Vintage Love Notes<\/a> stamp sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena’s<\/a>  favorite technique is to negative stamping with stencils. For this one she used Ranger Dylusions Large Crazy Paving Stencil<\/a> with Distress Oxide Inks and water. She added Tim Holtz Sizzix Silhouettes Birds <\/a>and Lovestruck<\/a> dies as well as Penny Black Ascending Thin Metal Creative<\/a> die. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura’s<\/a> favorite technique is to art journal! She headed to one of her favorite art journals, the Dylusions 8×8 Creative Journal<\/a>, added watercolor and then did some subtractive stenciling using the Dylusions Leaf It Out stencil.<\/a> She added a layer of collage using Seth Apter’s Printed Tissue<\/a> and Tim Holtz Collage Medium. <\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia’s<\/a> favorite technique is to spray over the stencil. She was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Spray Bundle<\/a> and Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil Noteworthy, Nature and Ringer<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MiNi<\/a> and Tim Holtz idea-ology GAUGE FRAMES Embellishments<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey’s<\/a> favorite technique with Dylusions is to create her own enamel look-like embellishments! She used Ranger Dylusions Clear Dyamond Rocks Embossing Powder<\/a> to create a thick coat over her collaged hearts and over her sentiment. She also used Dyan Reaveley Dylusions Longer The Leaf<\/a> that she colored with a mix of Dirty Martini<\/a> and Mushy Peas<\/a> although the photo does not catch the stunning shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
