Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Christmas Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use Patterned Paper<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Stamperia<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming back the lovely Alison Bomber<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alison<\/a> created this quartet of collaged panels using the Stamperia Around the World Rice Papers<\/a> as backgrounds, with lots of Tim Holtz Idea-ology elements layered over them.  Frames from Photo Studio<\/a> and some Paper Strips<\/a> provide architectural structure for the Paper Dolls<\/a> to perch on.  And the gentlemen are surrounded by various other Idea-ology ephemera –  some Gauge Dials<\/a>, pieces from the Memoir Ephemera Pack<\/a> and Snippets Number Strips<\/a>, beautiful postage stamp stickers from Postmarked<\/a>, and Small Talk word stickers<\/a>.  Ready for an adventure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> created some of her own patterned paper using Stamperia’s Create Happiness Embossing Pens<\/a> along with their White Superfine Embossing Powder<\/a> and Black Embossing Powder<\/a>. She used some existing patterned paper from Dina Wakley’s Collage Sparks 2<\/a> collection and used a sentiment from Tim Holtz’s Thoughts Label Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin <\/a>made a trio of autumn cards this week, or rather two cards and a tag. She used Stamperia’s Golden Harmony 8×8 in paper pad<\/a> for the cards. The cards were embellished with Stamperia’s Forest Leaves and Animals rub-ons<\/a> and Golden Harmony Pumpkins rub-ons<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> made a tag using a sheet from the Stamperia collection, Voyages Fantastiques,<\/a> as a base. She chose a skull from the Idea-ology Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls<\/a> pack as a centerpiece, and underneath it a stamp from the Framed Frights set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> made 2 cards using Stamperia Secret Diary Rice Paper<\/a> included in Simon Says October Card Kit, trimmed to create backgrounds, die-cut slim frames using Waffle Flower A7 Layers<\/a>, coloured with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Prize Ribbon Distress Spritz<\/a> from the new release and trimmed the images and sentiments from the Rice Paper to create the focal points on the cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a floral and romantic card using Stamperia Garden of Promises Paper<\/a> and a bit of fussy cutting.  She added dimension by using a rosette made with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Rosettes<\/a> die set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> headed to her art journal to work with Stamperia’s Klimt Paper Pack<\/a> and Background Papers.<\/a> She collaged a background with the papers, and Simon Says Stamps Grid Stenci<\/a>l and added marks using Tracy Scott’s Paper Artsy TS085 stamp<\/a>s, then fussy cut the women as her focal points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Blue Land 12×12 Paper<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MiNi<\/a> and Prima Marketing Rusty Metal Clips Art Daily Planner<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
