Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Brutus Monroe<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming the lovely Kerry B <\/a>  into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kerry <\/a>recycled a die cut Spellbinders Dancin’ Birthday Dragon <\/a>from an earlier card. For the background she used Distress Oxide <\/a>Sprays<\/a> and Inks<\/a>, and then stamped polka dots from a Tim Holtz Mr Rabbit Cling Stamp Set <\/a>and splattered with Dina Wakely White Gesso<\/a>. She then sprayed with Worn Lipstick <\/a>and Picked Paspberry Distress Spritz <\/a>through the Brutus Monroe Vortex Stencil<\/a>. She finished with a Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words <\/a>Birthday Sentiment<\/a> and clear sequins<\/a>. The whole panel was mounted on recycled corrugated cardboard to add more depth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> recycled some thin scrap metal into earrings decorated with Brutus Monroe’s Circus Life Paper<\/a>. She put her earrings together with the help of Dina Wakley’s Ultra Thick Gel Medium<\/a>, Tim Holtz’s Loop Pins<\/a> and her trusty Crop-A-Dile<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin <\/a>made a tag from recycled cardboard. The background was made with Brutus Monroe Slimline Lots of Lines stencil. <\/a>The leaves were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Foliage Wreath<\/a> from left-over paper and the buttons are recycled from old clothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created a trio of Halloween ATCs by recycling some Idea-Ology packages to create the background for her project. She added the three cute ghosts from the Spooky Spirits set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous<\/a>. She used Brutus Monroe Cinnamon Sugar embossing powder <\/a>and the Layering Stencil Jacks <\/a>to color the little pumpkins and Ranger Texture Paste Black Opaque<\/a> for the stars and bats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a Ghostly Halloween Party Banner from old music CD’s using Brutus Monroe Watercolor Galaxy patterned paper<\/a> and Alabaster Ultra Fine White Embossing Powder<\/a>, Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Spooky Spirits<\/a>\/Boo Crazy<\/a> stamp sets and Batty Layering Stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> recycled a corrugated paper which she embossed in gold with Brutus Monroe Gilded Ultra Fine Embossing Powder<\/a> and a dress label that was painted with Distress Paint Scorched Timber<\/a>. The composition was built on the biggest Tim Holtz Sizzix Framed Tags<\/a> and the focal point is one of the rosettes from the fantastic Prima Marketing Red, White and Blue mould<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> recycled an Amazon bag into a little tag book. She used Brutus Monroe’s Playful Pattern papers<\/a>, his Adhesive Shaker Pouch<\/a>, and Aqua Pigments like Wicked Witch.<\/a> She filled the pouch with sequins and beads, including Simon Says Stamp’s Sea Glass Sequins. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Brutus Monroe Succulent & Cactus Stamp & Die Set<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Prima Marketing Rusty Metal Clips Art Daily Planner<\/a> and Tim Holtz idea-ology Quote Chip Labels<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used cardboard as the base of her tag. She also used Distress Crayons<\/a> to add texture to her background and also Mica Stain<\/a> to add some more shine. To decorate the tag she used Ideaology Portraits<\/a> and Ephemera<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
