Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Texture Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to make something: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MASCULINE <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming the super talented Thom Santilla<\/a>  into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited him on Instagram<\/a> before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thom<\/a> made a panel using a\u00a0<\/a>Tim Holtz<\/a> Vault Watch Gears<\/a>\u00a0die set and a boy from\u00a0Paper Dolls Solo<\/a>. For the background he used a\u00a0<\/a>Digits Layerin<\/a> Stencil <\/a>\u00a0along with\u00a0 Picket Fence<\/a>,\u00a0Brushed Pewter<\/a>\u00a0and Lost Shadow<\/a>\u00a0Distress Paints mixed with\u00a0Translucent Grit Paste<\/a>. He added layers of\u00a0Uncharted Mariner, Scorched Timber, Chipped Safire, Hickory Smoke, and Weathered Wood Distress Oxides<\/a>. He then used\u00a0Idea-ology Gadget Gears<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mini Gears<\/a>\u00a0in the foreground and background. He finished with an Alphanumeric Tiny Type<\/a> sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a card using Tim’s Mini File Folders<\/a> and Paperdoll Portraits<\/a>. She made plenty of patterns in the background using Tim’s Bubble stencil<\/a> and Stars stencil<\/a>, along with his Remnants<\/a>, Sideshow<\/a> and Mixed Media 2<\/a> stamp sets. She also added in some Embellishments Fabric tape<\/a> and a Thoughts Label Sticker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a tag with a time theme and a vintage watch this week. It was mainly created with Tim Holtz Vault Watch Gears set<\/a>. The title was die cut with the Vault Word Travel set<\/a> and the background was painted with Distress Paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara <\/a>created a tag “all things Tim Holtz” using a mix of old and new products! She chose Sizzix Vault Picture Show<\/a>, Simon Says Stamp Curiosity Shop Wafer Dies<\/a>, Stampers Anonymous Curiosity Shop stamp se<\/a>t, Layering Stencils: Spots<\/a>, Mini Set 1<\/a>, Mini Set 5<\/a>. She completed her project by adding Idea-Ology Paper Dolls<\/a> and Ranger Distress Texture Paste Opaque.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a background with the Tim Holtz Halftone and Rings<\/a> background and Distress Inks. She added a Paper Dolls Portraits<\/a> as her focal point and used lots of Idea-ology, including the Cello Sticker Tape<\/a>, Postmarked<\/a> Sticker Book and Typed Tags<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decorated a Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Square Panel<\/a> with paper from Idea-ology Backdrops Volume 4<\/a>, Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Paint by Number<\/a>, Curiosity Shop<\/a>, Mini Layering Stencils from Sets 21<\/a> and 43<\/a> and used Idea-ology Paper Dolls Poses<\/a> as the main feature. For the title she used an old favourite, Idea-ology Alpha Transparent Tiles<\/a> and Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Tiny Type Upper Thinlits<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a slim card using her new toys: Tim Holtz Mr. Rabbit<\/a> and Paint By Number<\/a> stamp sets. She also used the great Simon Says Stamp Paint By Number <\/a>coordinated dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> was inspired by her recent trip to New York City to create her tag. She used Tim Holtz’s The Inspector stamp set,<\/a> Tim Holtz Colorblock Fabri<\/a>c, and Tim Holtz Abandoned Paper Stash.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology INDUSTRIAL GEARS Embellishments<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology SENTIMENTS Label Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used the whole Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Watch Gears Thinlits<\/a> to decorate her rusty tag. She also used DIstress Ink Paint<\/a> and Oxide Spray <\/a>to add color. A little bit of Tim Holtz Ideaology Ephemera<\/a> and she also added texture to the clock by using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Texture Hammer<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
