It\u2019s  Cassie’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cassie<\/a> was thinking about Spring while making this week\u2019s card. She used Tim Holtz Feathery<\/a>, Funky Wreath<\/a> and Feathered Friends<\/a> Die Sets and then she inked them up using Distress and Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>. For the finishing touch Dina Wakley Gesso<\/a> was splattered over the card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> thought this would be the perfect time to try out the adorable Honey Bee Heart Hugs Die Set<\/a>, which is where her bear came from. She also used Tim Holtz’s Vault Funky Floral Wreath Die Set<\/a> for the background circles and his Theories Stamp Set<\/a> for the sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a card with feather pens and letter-writing theme. The feathers are guinea fowl feathers and were die cut with Tim Holtz Feathery set.<\/a> They were white embossed with Simon Says Stamp Halftone Background stamp<\/a>. The main sentiment comes from Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Butterflies<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> was inspired to create her ATCs by Sizzix’s die for Tim Holtz, Silhouette Birds<\/a>. For the background, she used various Stampers Anonymous sets: Classics #6<\/a>, Classics #3,<\/a> and Tiny Textures Background<\/a>. The colors she used are Ranger Distress Ink Pad<\/a> and Ranger Distress Spray Stain.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created an abstract card using the feathers from the Feathery<\/a> die. She created a monoprint on Distress Kraft Heavystoc<\/a>k using the Peppermint Candy Sticks<\/a> stencil. She colored her feather with Distress Watercolor Pencils<\/a> and Foundry Wax<\/a>, then added a sentiment from the Observations<\/a> stamp set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a>‘s love for her feathered friends inspired her to use Distress Mica Sprays<\/a> and create a tag in warm and rusty metallic tones, featuring dies from Tim Holtz Vault Series 2024. She used the Lovebird<\/a>s and Funky Floral Wreath<\/a> and layered these onto a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag<\/a>. The background is created using Distress Spray Stains and the Roses Mini Layering Stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> made a card with a nod to the resident feathered friends in her garden, inspired by the wonderful makes for the launch of Tim Holtz Colorblock fabric<\/a>. She used Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Vault Lovebirds Thinlits<\/a> with Eclectic Elements fabric<\/a>, Idea-ology Specimen Remnant Rubs<\/a> and machine stitching to create texture and dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lols<\/a> made an Easter card using a Tim Holtz Oliver Colorize Die Set<\/a>. For the background I used Mustard Seed<\/a> and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> and used a Schoolhouse Layering Stencil<\/a> and Black Soot Ink <\/a>to add a little interest in the corners. I added some corrugated card and washi tape, a Honey Bee Lovely Layers Wildflower<\/a> and finished with a happy easter Small Talk<\/a> sticker sentiment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> was inspired by the last live by Tim Holtz about the new Colorblock fabric <\/a>and stitching it. Since she only had paper, she stitched it and then cut out Tim Holtz Sizzix Feathered Friends<\/a> die. She built the composition with several details from Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Bulletin<\/a>, Vintage labels<\/a>, Layered Dots<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> is definitely a fan of the furry friends. When she saw Lesia Zgharda’s Fox With Skis<\/a> and Fox with Coffee stamps<\/a>, they reminded her of her furry grand baby, Rowan. So, she had fun creating a trio of Artist Trading Cards with a foxy theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia SEA LAND 12×12 Paper<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix FUNKY NATURE Thinlits Dies<\/a> and Tim Holtz Sizzix FEATHERED FRIENDS Thinlits Die<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Tim Holtz Sizzix Alphanumeric Bullettin<\/a> to decorate the background of her tag. To add colors, she used Distress Spray Stain<\/a> and Distress Mica Stain<\/a>. To decorate she used Paper dolls<\/a> and two feathers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
