Hi all and welcome to another week on the\u00a0Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n

Thank you for joining us for the Throwback Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n

SO GLOSSY<\/span><\/h2>\n

Glossy Accents<\/a> is a staple favorite in most craft rooms. It is a super strong adhesive and it is fabulous for \u00a0creating 3D domes and glossy finishes. Of course there are many more products we can use to add a little gloss to our projects, from foiled papers<\/a>,\u00a0to glossy texture paste<\/a>. We will be looking forward to seeing what you use to create a little shine on your projects!<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> got her gloss on by\u00a0 making some shiny shaker panels as part of her swing tags.<\/p>\n

I’m not even sure that “swing tag” is an official term, but I made these tags whose layers pivot on one central brad.\u00a0 And subject matter?\u00a0 I figure you can’t ever start too early with the holly jolly goodness.\u00a0 These tags feature products from some fabulous new collections, namely Simple Stories’ Claus and Co<\/a> and October Afternoon’s Under the Tree.<\/a><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> loves to stamp on glossy cardstock.<\/p>\n

\"Glossy-Winter-Forest---Layers-of-ink\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Glossy cardstock<\/a> has been one of my favourite surfaces ever since I started stamping and this week I made three different winter cards using three lovely scenic stamps<\/a> by Penny Black. The images were stamped on glossy cardstock with Archival Ink<\/a> and colored with Distress Inks. These cards came together quickly and I am glad to have some of my Christmas cards ready.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a>\u00a0has used this challenge to prepare the packages and cards for Christmas!<\/p>\n

\"Glossysimon\"<\/a><\/p>\n

During Christmas\u00a0 time\u00a0 I love\u00a0 glossy look! I used\u00a0 new Tim\u2019s stamps “Plaid & Nordic<\/a>”\u00a0with Embossing powder clear, so I\u00a0 have created a\u00a0shiny effect,\u00a0 tone on tone\u00a0 for my\u00a0 packaging,\u00a0 cut with Pillow box die<\/a>! I chose\u00a0 stencil Snowflakes<\/a>\u00a0 and Stampendous “Shabby white”<\/a> for the card , this powder is\u00a0 ultra glossy with golden interference! I\u2019m\u00a0 definitely in the Christmas mood!!!!<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> used glossy paper to create her colorful card.<\/p>\n

I love glossy paper and I don’t use it enough. I used a rainbow of Alcohol Inks<\/a> on this piece of Ranger Glossy Paper<\/a>. I used Tim’s Handwritten Wish<\/a> die and and Handwritten Sentiments<\/a> stamp to create my big, bold greeting.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0created a piece of Christmas home decor that shines like a diamond!<\/p>\n

\"SoGlossy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As my mind turns to Christmas, I chose to create a burlap panel home decor project using one of my favourite techniques which captures plenty of gloss and shine. I applied Transparent Texture Paste<\/a> through the Festive Layering stencil<\/a> onto a background of gloss card<\/a> and alcohol inks before adding Tattered Poinsettias<\/a> and sparkly Holiday Greens<\/a> as my finishing touch.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a>\u00a0is feeling the chill of winter this week up in her neck of the woods.<\/p>\n

\"SoGlossy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s starting to get cold here which has me thinking of winter. I pulled out my new Simon dies Lined Trees<\/a>\u00a0and Happy Winter<\/a>\u00a0to make my card. These are part of the Simon Create Joy winter releases, and I am loving them! Diamond Glaze <\/a>makes the perfect glossy accent for my trees.<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> created a glossy mixed media wall hanging for her art studio.<\/p>\n

\"Meisia<\/a><\/p>\n

I was inspired to create this 5″ X 7″ mixed media canvas with the Crackle Paint<\/a> on the background first, and pasted some Tim Holtz Sizzix Die<\/a> cut embellishments on it using\u00a0Faber-Castell Glaze<\/a>. After distressing the canvas with Distress Paint<\/a>, I covered the canvas and all the embellishments with Faber-Castell Glaze for a beautiful sheen and protecting the surface.<\/p>\n

Michelle<\/a>\u00a0used just a touch of glass to make her project shine.<\/p>\n

\"1<\/a><\/p>\n

I love the new Merry & Bright Stamp and Die Set <\/a>from Hero Arts. It has versatile sentiments and is easy to watercolor with my Zig Kuretake <\/a>set. A touch of Glossy Accents<\/a> adds a little shine. Sometimes that’s all you need!<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> went all glossy with her card

\nI love the Transparent Gloss Texture Paste<\/a>. It gives it such a fun texture and effect.\u00a0I’ve applied it on the glossy paper background I inked up with some colors of Alcohol Inks<\/a>. As I didn’t want to loose the colorful background I stamped with the circle stamp of Trust the Magic<\/a> stamp set on a transparent sheet with StazOn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Suzz<\/a>\u00a0 gilded her art this week with glossy accents and Stampendous Gold Halo Glitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"OLYMPUS<\/a><\/p>\n

I had a vision of angel wings dipped in gold and there is no better way to achieve that than glossy accents<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 The wings were cut from a mass of feathers using feather dies<\/a>. \u00a0 I accented everything with a lovely gold sheen using the Tsukineko Gold Gliz Ink<\/a>.\u00a0 This will be a lovely addition to my Christmas tree this year.<\/p>\n
