Carrie<\/a> created this fun tag showcasing one of her favorite techniques, \u201cLayered Steampunk\u201d. The large tag from the Tim Holtz Framelits Tag Collection <\/a>served as a base along with a stencil from the Tim Holtz Oberservations pack<\/a>. Layers and more layers of gesso, ink, die cut flowers, filled bottle caps, and an adorable Steampunk stamp from the AALL & Create Time Warp stamp set<\/a> helped to achieve this technique. Prima Marketing Archival Wax<\/a> give this Layered Steampunk tag a little extra pop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea’s<\/a> current favorite technique is to make colorful doodled pages out of Distress Crayons<\/a>, Scribble Sticks<\/a>, stencils, paint, etc., then she tears up the doodled sheets and collages them back together. She made this notebook cover using Seth Apter’s Grate Full stencil<\/a> and Tim Holtz’s Theories stamp set<\/a> and Specimen die set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> can’t pick a favorite technique, but two of her favorites are resist techniques and to create texture with layers of Distress Ink<\/a> and Distress Oxide ink<\/a>. She made a tag this week to remember both calm and stormy days at the sea. The background was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Tumbling Shells<\/a> and the flowers are from Tim Holtz Wildflowers set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> loves so much the Mixed Media technique, especially creating backgrounds with colors and stencils! She created a Halloween Decoration using Etcetera Tag Mini <\/a>and Etcetera Facades<\/a>. Ranger Distress Black Paste<\/a>, Mica Stains<\/a>, and Distress Spray Stains<\/a> are the perfect mix to have much fun creating! She added Paper Dolls from Idea-ology Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls <\/a>and a sentiment from Idea-ology Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies<\/a> to complete her project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> using Distress Ink Blending – one of the first techniques she learned and still a favorite! She used her favorite colors of Distress Inks<\/a> and blended them into a rainbow. She added stamping in Black Soot<\/a> Distress Archival Ink using the Floral Outline<\/a> stamps and then ran her tag through the Dotted <\/a>Texture Fades to give it extra texture. To finish her tag, she added a simple sentiment from Noteworthy<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a>‘s favourite technique is all about making textured backgrounds using various mediums and stencils<\/a>, and she used Black Texture Paste and Mica Stains<\/a> to create the perfect backdrop on her Etcetera Panel project<\/a>. She bought this spooky scene to life using products from Tim Holtz’s brand new Halloween idea-ology release<\/a>, and included a Drippy Candle<\/a> and tiny handmade books with the covers included in the Ephemera pack<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath’s<\/a> favourite technique is creating backgrounds with Distress products and for this card she used Distress Mica Stains<\/a> and Black Texture Paste<\/a> from the Tim Holtz\/Ranger Halloween 2023 release, Tim Holtz Sizzix Skeleton Leaves<\/a>, Funky Floral Large<\/a> and Frightful Things<\/a> Thinlits and Idea-ology Halloween 2023 Baseboards and Transparencies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols<\/a> loves to Stencil and Splatter and for this card she used her favorite Tim Holtz Dot Fade<\/a> and Schoolhouse Layering Stencils<\/a>. For the splatters she used Lost Shadow Distress Stain<\/a> and Dylusions Lemon Zest Ink Spray.<\/a> She used a new Tim Holtz Gentlemen Die Se<\/a>t and added a Note Quotes <\/a>balloon to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a>\u00a0loves to make backgrounds and play with layers. She made a B-day card using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Digits<\/a> for the background of the main panel and Tim Holtz Sizzix Feathery dies <\/a>as a focal point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> loves to create layers of color and pattern, using stencils such as a Simon Says Stamp Mermaid Scales Stencil<\/a> and AALL and Create’s White Lotus Stencil<\/a>, along with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint<\/a> in colors like Magenta <\/a>and Ocean<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag with her favorite stenciling technique using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 55<\/a> and Ranger DYLUSIONS INK SPRAY SET OF 6 Dyan Reaveley<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology GAUGE FRAMES Embellishments<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a>‘s favourite technique is to mix Inks<\/a> + Paints<\/a> + Sprays<\/a> to create her background! Using mixed media in her project is what makes her happy the most! She also use Stencils<\/a> and stamps.<\/a>
To decorate her tag she made a cluster with various Idea-Ology items<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
