Andrea<\/a> loved the October 2013 “Spooky” challenge and made some Halloween treat bags in its honor.<\/p>\n

I’ve said before that since I am NOT a baking or cooking superstar, I go for the gusto with my treat packaging instead of the treat itself!\u00a0 I loved spook-i-fying these glassine bags using several products from Taylored Expressions, namely the Witch Boot die<\/a>, the Toil and Trouble<\/a> cling stamp set and the Witches Brew<\/a> cling stamp set.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin <\/a>is very happy about the challenge that got her to start art journaling.<\/p>\n

\"OLYMPUS<\/a><\/p>\n

One of my favourite challenges were a STAMPtember challenge from 2013<\/a>, when we used Simon Says Stamp exclusive products and an art journaling kit. \u00a0It made me start art journaling, something I am very happy about. This week, I did a double pager in the new Ranger Dylusions 8 x 8 square journal<\/a>, using stamps<\/a>, stencils<\/a> and paint<\/a> by Dina Wakley. The circles were die cut with the SSS Circle Loops <\/a>die.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> is looking forward to Christmas, time of the year that she loves much!<\/p>\n

Christmas is definitely the\u00a0 time of year\u00a0 that I love more!!!\u00a0 I’ve chose one of my favourite challenge of the last year,\u00a0 December 2014: “Holiday cards<\/a>“. Bird Crazy<\/a> and\u00a0 Tim Holtz’s\u00a0 Festive Scribbles Thinlits <\/a>are perfect to start\u00a0 to create cards and tags for my friends! I added little touch of\u00a0 sparkle\u00a0 to give a festive touch: Wink of stella<\/a>\u00a0 and Stickles<\/a> are\u00a0 wonderful for this\u00a0 purpose!!!\u00a0 I hope you like my first Christmas card\u00a0 of 2015!<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> was inspired by the A Cameo Appearance<\/a> challenge from Feb 2014.<\/p>\n

I love all things made with cameos, and I have been saving these Crypt Cameos<\/a> for a spooky Halloween project. I made my tag using Wilted Violet Distress Spray stain<\/a>, and added some black embossing paste through the Tim Holtz Batground layering stencil<\/a> to create my background, then topped it off with the cameo that I attached using the “chain” from the Gothic Industrious Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0was inspired by the light of the silvery moon.<\/p>\n

\"throwback\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Inspired by last year’s “To The Moon<\/a>” challenge, I made a card using the black cat from the Hocus Pocus die set<\/a>, showing that it doesn’t have to be just for Halloween ~ this one is just to say…’hello”! I stood my glittered cat on a wall created with the Bricked Layering Stenci<\/a>l and Texture Paste<\/a> and a background inked with Distress Inks before surrounding him with autumnal die cut leaves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a>‘s challenged by the blues this week. Throwback challenge: Blues, from January 2014<\/p>\n

Art Journals can be a wonderful outlet to put words into thoughts, and let your emotions out. This week mine came out in the blues. Lots of blues, from distress inks in Blueprint<\/a>\u00a0to Mermaid’s Lagoon<\/a>\u00a0to Salty Ocean<\/a>.\u00a0The Kaisercraft Time Machine stamps <\/a>worked beautifully to create the background.<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to make another piece for the\u00a0Autumn is in the Air<\/a> theme this week.<\/p>\n

\nI just love the cool weather and falling leaves so much in this season, so I created another Autumn mixed media piece this week. After applying Gesso on this canvas, I colored it with Izink inks<\/a>. The leaves were colored with izink, too, and die cut with\u00a0Sizzix Fall Foliage Thinlits Die<\/a>. Some Tim Holtz metal embellishments <\/a>were attached for more interest.<\/p>\n

Michelle<\/a>\u00a0was inspired by a Paint Challenge from June 2014.<\/p>\n

\"Altenew<\/a><\/p>\n

They say that a little paint goes a long way, but I disagree. More paint equals more fun! I had fun painting my tag<\/a> with lots and lots of layers. The loose designs from the Golden Garden Altenew Stamps<\/a> were easy to paint. And the sentiment, an older Stampers Anonymous<\/a> classic, made a great focal image.<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> made\u00a0some\u00a0Halloween ATC’s inspired by the Paint it up\u00a0challenge

\nI was inspired by my own tag I made back in August of 2012 for this throwback challenge. I just learned this dry brush technique and now\u00a0I wanted to make it into an Halloween ATC. So I grabbed the Deluxe<\/a>, Antique<\/a> and Mini<\/a> Gears dies and also the Fine Spider\u00a0Webs<\/a> die for the texture. I’m in love\u00a0with the Undertaker<\/a>\u00a0stamp set.<\/p>\n

Suzz<\/a> had fun revisiting all the fun challenges but was drawn to the White Challenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How fun to look back at all the fun challenges and pick out one to be inspired by.\u00a0 I am always drawn to monochromatic color schemes.\u00a0 The all white challenge has you thinking of how to create depth, texture and interest with a plain color palette.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Emma’s<\/a> use of the Stylish Lady from Tim Holtz Runway stamps\u00a0<\/a> \u00a0 a few weeks ago had me thinking of a wedding card featuring a bride.\u00a0\u00a0 I layered in some lacy stenciling using Tim Holtz’s\u00a0 Doily Layering Stencil<\/a> with Wendy Vecchi’s White Embossing Paste<\/a>.\u00a0 To add a touch of the bridal glamour I covered the embossing paste with\u00a0 Stampendous Crystal Glitter<\/a>.\u00a0 A shimmery elegant wedding card all ready to send.<\/p>\n
