Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Stencil Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADD TEXTURE <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tonic Studios<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we\u2019re welcoming back the lovely Ann Chuang<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ann<\/a> created a card using Tonic Nuvo Expanding Mousse<\/a> and Tim Holtz Layering Flourish Stencil<\/a>,  together with Distress Oxide Spray<\/a> for the backgrounds. She also used Tim Holtz Sizzix Decor Frames Bigz Die<\/a> and Mini Detailed Butterflies Thinlits Die<\/a>, and Idea-ology Solos Paper Dolls<\/a> as the focal point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> loves creating texture through layers. She used Tonic’s Elementary Midtones watercolor pencils<\/a> and Tonic’s Crystal Drops in Caribbean Ocean<\/a> for pops of color. The cards were cut using Elizabeth Crafts’ Tickets and Tabs dies<\/a> and embellished with Tim Holtz’s Collage Layer Frames<\/a> and Collage Strips<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a bright tag this week. The butterflies were die cut from Tonic Vintage White Vellum Paper<\/a> and Sugared Coral Glitter Card<\/a>. The silver elements were made with Tonic Nuvo Silver Bullion Gilding Flakes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> loves adding texture to her projects so much! She created a tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Roses 3D Embossing Folder<\/a> and Bunny Hop Thinlits Die<\/a>. She used Tonic Golden Egg Nuvo Embossing powder<\/a> to add texture to the bunny’s tail. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps set Spring Shadow<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a ton of texture on her card by using Tonic Moonstone Glitter Paste<\/a> over her entire stenciled panel. She blended Tim Holtz Distress Oxides<\/a> through the Simon Says Stamp Folk Art Stencil <\/a>and then added the paste over the entire panel. She finished her card with a CZ Design Miss You <\/a>sentiment die. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> used the Sizzix Collector Die Set by Tim Holtz<\/a> to create a gift card envelope for Easter showing a little Feathered Friend<\/a>, sitting in a nest full of Tiny Eggs<\/a>. She used Tonic Atlantis Burst Nuvo Shimmer Powder<\/a> to create the colour on the Grit Paste stencilled background which was then cut with the Tim Holtz’s Tonic Rotary Trimmer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a card using Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Mosaic 3D Texture Fade<\/a>, Idea-ology Backdrops Vol 5 paper<\/a> and a Transparent Layer<\/a> to add texture to the background. She used Tonic Studios Vintage White Vellum<\/a>, coloured with Distress Paints and die-cut with Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Modern Floristry<\/a>, Funky Floral Large<\/a> and Wildflower Stems 2<\/a> to create layered textured flowers and leaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a> made a shaker card using a Tonic Studios Slimline Shaker Creator Shaker Pocket<\/a> and a Katzelkraft Chien De Pere Noel Rubber Stamp<\/a> and Spiral Borders<\/a> for the background. To add texture she used a Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil <\/a>and Ranger Texture Paste<\/a> and finished with a Sending Die Cut<\/a> and Tim Holtz Christmas Label Sticker<\/a> and a lot of Winter Flurries<\/a> and Sparkling<\/a> sequins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made an industrial card using a very textured Altenew Tree Bark 3D embossing folder<\/a> sprinkled with Tonic Antique Gold Nuvo Mica Mist<\/a>. She added Prima Marketing Beautiful Gears Chipboard diecuts<\/a> and embossed them with Ranger Hammered <\/a>and Sea Mixed Media embossing powders<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> is reminiscing about all the camping adventures she and her family have had in her art journal. She used a camping photo from Tim Holtz Snapshots Vol. 2<\/a>, a Funky tag from Studio Light<\/a>, and added texture with Tonic Studios Herb Garden Chalk Mousse.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Easter Critters<\/a> on the background, adding the texture with The Crafter’s Workshop WHITE MODELING PASTE<\/a> and coloring it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
