Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOLIDAY CHEER<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Natasha Vacca, aka Natasha’s Colorful Creations<\/a>, into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natasha<\/a> created a rustic holiday card, inspired by the Tim Holtz Tree Rings Embossing folder<\/a>.  She created the background using a variety of Distress Inks<\/a> and Distress Mica Stains<\/a>  and used the Festive Bouquet Dies<\/a>  as her focal point.  The floral images were colored using Distress Oxide Sprays<\/a> and Oxide Inks<\/a> and she finished with a Tim Holtz Christmas Label Sticker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a festive tag using Tim Holtz’s Christmas Cutouts<\/a>, Funky Nordic<\/a>, and Framelits Tag Collection<\/a> die sets. She colored her village using Distress Crayons (sets 1<\/a>, 2<\/a> and 12<\/a>) as well as Distress Paint. The background was made from sturdy Distress Kraft Heavystock<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a festive Christmas bells tag using Tim Holtz’s beautiful Department Store stamp set<\/a>. For a warm Christmas feeling, Golden Rod Stickles<\/a> was added to the ribbon and Diamond Stickles <\/a>to the berries, combined with gold embossing<\/a> in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> every year creates a Christmas decoration as a gift for her best friend! This year she made a decoration for the house using an embroidery hoop as a base. To decorate her project she used some Sizzix dies for Tim Holtz: Bold Text Christmas<\/a>, Village Collection<\/a>, Large Funky Festive<\/a>, and Bowtied Colorize<\/a>. To give a touch of sparkle Idea-ology Christmas Deco Sheets<\/a> is really perfect!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a bright and festive tag to add a bit of Holiday Cheer. She used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Papercut Christmas 1<\/a> Colorize dies on top of a super colorful background she created with Distress Watercolor Pencils<\/a> on Distress Kraft Heavystock<\/a>. She added a sentiment from the Stampers Anonymous Bold Tidings Mini<\/a> and some stars from the Sizzix Christmas Cutouts<\/a> to finish her tag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> used the Sizzix Retro Santa by Tim Holtz<\/a> to make a card that she packed full of Holiday Joy. She placed Santa against a moonlit sky that was created using Distress Inks blended through the Moon Mask<\/a> and she finished her card with stamps from the Stampers Anonymous Festive Overlay<\/a> and Vintage Holidays<\/a> stamp set by Tim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decided to continue with her annual tradition of making holiday shaker ornaments as gifts for family and friends. She created the frames using Nesting Circle dies<\/a> and used Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Twig and Stump<\/a>, Christmas CutOuts<\/a>, Framed Tags <\/a>and Yuletide Colorize<\/a> Thinlits and greenery from Holiday Brushstrokes 3<\/a> and Modern Festive<\/a> Thinlits to decorate the ornaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> wrote a letter to Santa hoping she was on a nice list. She kept the card in a retro mood using the Tim Holtz Sizzix RETRO TYPE Bigz<\/a> die with HOLIDAY BRUSHSTROKE<\/a> dies and ALPHANUMERIC TINY TYPE UPPER<\/a> and LOWER<\/a> dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a holiday card using Paper Rose CHRISTMAS FUN ROSE GOLD <\/a>on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix GEO CHRISTMAS Thinlits Dies<\/a> and Simon Says Clear Stamps HOLIDAY GREENS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Tim Holtz Distress Snowfall Holiday Grit Paste<\/a> to create highly textured background, she then used Christmas Linen Tape Patchwork<\/a> to add some more interest. Tim Holtz Sizzix Christmas Cutouts Thinlits Dies<\/a> were perfect to decorate it! Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book<\/a> and a bunch of distress ink products<\/a> were just perfect for some touches up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
