Planners are all the rage these days! We\u2019d love to see your crafty planner pages, but this challenge can be taken many more ways! You can share a project about plans you\u2019ve made, you could get a jump on holiday crafting, art journal a dream or hope for the future, or make a crafty plan of some other kind, and show us what happens!<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> plans most drawings and paintings on her canvas cover sketchbook. This week, she decided to decorate the cover with inks and paints.<\/p>\n

I always sketch or plan my drawings on this sketchbook before painting. The front and back boards of this sketchbook have been covered with primed canvas, so I applied Izink inks<\/a> to created the colors and patterns. To add layers of images, I stenciled the background with Tim Holtz Layering Stencil<\/a> and ColorBox Pigment Inks<\/a>, and stamped with Tim Holtz Stamps<\/a> and Simon Says Stamp Inks<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> is planning for the weather.<\/p>\n

I taught earth science for years, and if I could teach my students to wear long pants when it was cold, or bring an umbrella if it was going to rain, I counted that a success. So, I immediately thought to plan for the weather with this challenge! I made a little weather journal using Tim Holtz\u2019s Umbrella Man stamp<\/a> , the Waffle Flower Weather Planner stamps<\/a>, and tried out the Ranger Blueprint Distress Paint<\/a> for the first time.<\/em><\/p>\n

Emma<\/a> is planning to be more organised!<\/p>\n

From as far back as I remember I’ve always loved stationery products and have numerous notebooks, diaries and journals and when I saw this challenge I decided it was time to make my own planner and that’s exactly what I did! I began by decorating a worn cover<\/a> using papers from the Correspondence paper stash<\/a>. I added an frame and a corked vial<\/a> filled with handmade blooms, together with various pieces of idea-ology before decorating the inside of the cover using Distress Ink applied through the Honeycomb Layering Stencil<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

I (May<\/a>) didn’t have a great plan this week.<\/p>\n

When in doubt, a good hello sentiment<\/a> always works! One plan I always make is to use up scraps on my desk by making small projects. This works in my favor especially when I fail to plan ahead enough for a challenge like this one. Hey, a lack of a plan is still sort of a plan, right?<\/p>\n

Making a memory book was the inspiration for Sandra’s<\/a> art journal spread.<\/p>\n

I’m planning on making a memory book, and this spread is a reminder to actually do it. I need to make more pictures and journal about my life. I have so much fun date stamps like KaiserCraft Months<\/a> and Simple Stories DIY Date<\/a>, and this is a way to see them in action. I stamped twice with each stamp so I got an original and a ghost one. For a splash of color I used Picked Raspberry<\/a> and Neon Pink<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> started thinking of daily plans, one of which is story telling time.<\/p>\n

Story telling is the most important part of my son’s bed time routine, and I make up a new story every evening. This shadow box is inspired by that, which is why I used various fairy tale themed products. The box<\/a> itself, as well as the owl <\/a>and wooden embellishments <\/a>are by Prima. The magical castle<\/a> was die cut with a Sizzix die.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> loves to keep her thoughts and goals in a paper planner.<\/p>\n

My nude filofax planner is very plain, so I used the Hero Arts Planner Page fancy die<\/a> to make some artsy inserts of my own. I cut them from manila cardstock, painted and stenciled them with Distress Paints <\/a>and made the tabs for them using the Tim Holtz Tiny Tabs & Tags die<\/a> and some Chit Chat Stickers<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ashli<\/a> was inspired to document her daily plan…<\/p>\n

In order to function around these parts, with four little ones, we rely heavily on a “daily list.” Using the Fuse<\/a> tool, I created a custom pocket page, complete with lovely papers from the Seven, Baxter line<\/a>. To finish things off, I stenciled using one of the Baxter Cards<\/a>, and added some watercolor. Some old daily lists will fit perfectly in the pocket portion at the bottom of this custom layout.<\/em><\/p>\n

For Nicole<\/a>, keeping organized is important.<\/p>\n

I like to work ahead and keep to a schedule. I instantly was inspired to create a Worn Cover Journal<\/a> where I can keep my design team responsibilities, challenges and dates in order. The Assorted Pocket Pages are perfect to tuck my notes and inspiration.<\/em><\/p>\n

Michelle<\/a> is planning on making lists.<\/p>\n

I haven’t jumped on the planner bandwagon, but this DIY-er loves to make lists with my Hero Arts Checklist Stamp<\/a>. It’s a perfect fit for the library pocket that I made with the Silhouette Cameo<\/a>. Coincidence? No, I planned it!<\/em><\/p>\n

Summertime plans always involve a trip or two for Suzz<\/a> and her family.<\/p>\n

I have been hoarding the Tim Holtz Collection Folio<\/a> waiting to create a trip planner. When I saw the challenge this week I knew it was time to pull out my planner and create a series of pockets using the awesome Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Pocket Cards<\/a>. I also added some inspiring words for our trip using the Idea-Ology Words Remnant Rub-ons.<\/a> Now all we have to do is plan our next trip and I am ready to go.<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> did a re-do on a basic generic planner.<\/p>\n

When I saw this lonely little lifeless planner at Walmart, I thought it would appreciate a makeover. Using Prima’s Garden Fable<\/a> paper, my trusty Cinch machine<\/a> and my watercolors<\/a>, I stripped it down to its binding and added some gusto!<\/em><\/p>\n
