It\u2019s Anita’s <\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita<\/a> used AALL & Create Lotza Diamondz 6\u00d76 Stencil<\/a> with modeling paste and acrylics for the embossed background of her art journal page. For the focal insects, she used Tim Holtz ‘Entomology’ Cling Rubber Stamps<\/a> with Memento Tuxedo Black Dew Drop Ink Pad<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> heat-embossed the white elements on her card that’s made with Papertrey Ink’s Witches Brew stamp set<\/a> and Brew to Go dies<\/a>. She also used bats from Tim Holtz’s Toil and Trouble die set<\/a> and cobwebs from his Trick or Treat Halloween stamp set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> used both dry embossing and heat embossing on this card. The background was done with Simon Says Stamp Minted Florals embossing folder<\/a> and Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils<\/a>. The sentiment was die cut with Simon Says Stamp Just Because<\/a> and heat embossed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> is in the mood for Halloween and she used Tim Holtz Sizzix’s Skulls 3D<\/a> embossing folder to make a card with this theme. She completed her work with the floral stamp from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Dearly Departed set<\/a>. She gives color to her project with Ranger Distress Oxide Villainous Potion<\/a> and Ranger Distress Halloween Mica Stain set 4.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a spooky Halloween tag featuring Distress Embossing Glaze<\/a> that she put on top of texture paste through the Batground Layering Stencil<\/a>. She added lots of Distress Mica Stains<\/a>, and Halloween Idea-ology Baseboard<\/a> pieces to complete her tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> combined embossing folders and embossing powders to create an Etcetera Tag for Halloween. She used various Tim Holtz\/Sizzix products including the Leaf Print Thinlits Die Set<\/a> and embossed the die cut leaves with Distress Glazes<\/a> before layering them onto her background, embossed with the Sizzix Acorns 3D Texture Fade Embossing Folder by Tim Holtz<\/a>. She added a Halloween Paper Doll<\/a> as the focal point, and he is holding a Halloween Adornment<\/a> and Curator Ephemera Snippet<\/a> in his hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> is looking forward to Autumn, the season when the nights draw in, temperatures cool and the leaves on the trees start to change colour. She made a card to welcome it’s arrival using Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Acorns 3D Texture Fade<\/a>, Pumpkin Duo Thinlits<\/a> and Simon Says Hello die<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a>made a card using a Tim Holtz 3D Numbered Texture Fades Embossing Folder<\/a> and Mischievous Cats Dies<\/a>. She started by smooshing Watercolor Card Stock<\/a> in Pumice Stone<\/a> and Black Soot<\/a> Ink and then embossed the design. She then added some Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Lustre Gilding Polish<\/a> over the raised areas. She splattered another piece of Watercolor Card<\/a> with Distress Resist<\/a> and then blended Faded Jeans<\/a> and Chipped Sapphire <\/a>Ink. She used Tim Holtz Tiny Type Dies<\/a> for the sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> had a chance to play with Hero Arts Antique Map Bold Prints<\/a> stamp which she embossed on the background and Tim Holtz Sizzix Feather<\/a> dies. She got the vintage look using several shades of brown with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide<\/a> pads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> was inspired to create her tag by the changing colors of the trees in her area. She used Tim Holtz.Sizzix Swirls Embossing Folder<\/a>, Tim’s Oak Leaf 3D Emboss and Cut folde<\/a>r, his Specimen folder<\/a> and added a bit more with the new Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media Halloween tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil DECAYED<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with the heat embossed image using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps MONSTROUS<\/a> and Simon Says Stamp EMBOSSING POWDER CLEAR Fine Detail<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Tim Holtz Sizzix Skull 3D Fades<\/a> on a piece of vellum<\/a> then she adhered it to the background of her tag and added Tim Holtz Collage Paper<\/a> and a mix of Distress Paint <\/a>+ Distress Spray<\/a> to add color and blend the vellum in. She also used Halloween Ideaology Ephemera<\/a> to decorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
