Today is the funeral of Queen Elizabeth ll, and we are dedicating this challenge to her memory. If you would like to make a project with sympathy, condolences, crowns, jewels etc that would be nice, but not compulsory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita<\/a> used a Gel Press Gel Printing Plate<\/a> with metallic acrylic paints<\/a> and a mandala stencil<\/a> for her art journal spread. She used a Sakura Micron Pen<\/a> on a butterfly solid die cut<\/a> for her focal element, and My Favorite Things Bitty Hugs and Kisses<\/a> stamp with bright white WOW Embossing Powder<\/a> for the sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a regal tag cut out of Strathmore Black Mixed Media paper<\/a> and using Studio Light’s<\/a> Label and Moodles<\/a> die set. She used some stars from Simon Says Stamp<\/a> Scattered Stars Stencil<\/a> and Mini Stars<\/a> Die and made the sentiment using alphabet letters from My Favorite Thing’s<\/a> Connected<\/a> Stamp Set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an Artist Trading Card this week. The stamps are from Tim Holtz Mini Ornates set<\/a> and the crown was embossed with gold powder<\/a>. To frame the card corners were die cut from gold paper using Simon Says Stamp Card Corners<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created a tag dedicated to the Queen using Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Exquisite<\/a>, some pieces from Idea-Ology Keepsakes Ephemera<\/a>, Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Etceter<\/a>a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a sparkly background with DIstress Mica Stains and lots of stamp sets including Handwritten Thoughts<\/a>, Correspondence<\/a>, and Halloween Doodles<\/a> stamped in Distress Archival Ink<\/a> over the sparkly background. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a>made a sympathy card to send to the Royal Family using a Tim Holtz Flower Garden Stamp Set<\/a> and Coordinating Die Set<\/a>. For the background she dipped Watercolor Card Stock<\/a> in Faded Jeans Distress Ink<\/a> she then used a Roses Layering Stencil<\/a> to add some leaves before adding some texture and glitter through a Dot Fade Stencil<\/a>. She gold heat embossed the flower and sentiment and added some Gold Metallic Droplets<\/a> and Gina K Quartz Sequins<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a tag with the colors of British flag using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain Prize Ribbon<\/a> for the background. She embellished the tag with Tim Holtz Sizzix Feather <\/a>colored in black and adding Distress Stickles Clear Rock Candy Dry Glitter.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> created a sparkly card using the Carabelle Studio Butterfly Sparkle stamps <\/a>, Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti Glitter<\/a>, and Clear Wink of Stella<\/a> to embellish the wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a sparkle mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress HALLOWEEN SPARKLE SET Ranger<\/a> on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENGRAVING LAYERS<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology EPHEMERA SNIPPETS NUMBER STRIPS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
