Alison<\/a> upcycled a deep home decor frame and filled it with dried flowers and seedheads from the garden, tucked in glass test tubes, with some rusty nails and a Tim Holtz Toadstool<\/a> in between.  She wove a story around the gentlemen from the Idea-ology Snapshots<\/a> and all their botanical observations, recorded in Ephemera Snippets Halloween Labels<\/a> and Number Strips<\/a>.  There are Tim Holtz papers too, including some from the latest Backdrops 3 <\/a>C<\/a>ollection<\/a>.  Speckled Egg Distress Paint<\/a>, Crackle Paste<\/a>, Grit Paste<\/a>, and Distress Crayons<\/a> provide just some of the rusted and weathered textures – but this is a project where you really need to see all the details in close-up over at Words and Pictures!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> utilized dies to create frame layers on her tag. She used Maker’s Movement Nested Box Tags dies<\/a> and Whimsy Stamps’ ATC Antique Frames dies<\/a>. She also brought in some patterned paper from Maggie Holmes’ Market Square<\/a> and Simple Stories’ Family Fun<\/a> collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> framed a sentiment with a stamped and die cut label and layered a whole lot of labels underneath it. The labels were stamped with Simon Says Stamp Mixed Labels <\/a>and die cut with the coordinating dies<\/a>. The little book was made from a Tim Holtz Memoir Ephemera Pack piece<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> used the new Mini Stencil Set 52<\/a> to create a frame for the fabulous Stamp from Botanic Collage both by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous<\/a>. She choose Ranger Distress Texture Paste Crackle Translucent<\/a> together with Embossing Glaze Salvaged patina<\/a> and Twisted citron<\/a>, Ranger Distress Crayons Ripe Persimmon<\/a> and Distress Spray Stain Saltwater Taffy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a frame using a Tim Holtz Lace Baseboard frame<\/a> and a frame of leaves from the Stampers Anonymous Floral Elements<\/a> set to surround the butterfly image from the Botanic Collage<\/a> stamp set. She placed them on a background of Distress Oxides and added a sentiment from the Noteworthy<\/a> set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> used Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Floral Frame 3D Impresslits<\/a> and Idea-ology Found Relatives<\/a> as the main feature on an Art Journal panel. She used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Floral Elements<\/a> and Eccentric<\/a> stamp sets, Mosaic Mini Layering Stencil<\/a> and Distress Crackle Texture Paste<\/a> to create the background and decorated with Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Brushstroke Flowers 4 Thinlits.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a card for a maths teacher framing an old classroom board with Time for Tea Designs Wide Stitched Frame<\/a> die and embossed some formulas from Tim Holtz Weird Science <\/a>stamp set. She used Simon Says Stamp Etched Laurel Leaves <\/a>and Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Nature<\/a> dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> went down the rabbit hole this week with her mini framed project. She used Prima’s Nature Lover Wood Frames <\/a>and Stamperia’s Alice in Wonderland papers.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAME<\/a> on this corrugated tag, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI<\/a>, Tim Holtz Idea-ology QUOTE SEALS<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology WORD PLAQUES<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> used the Brickwork 3D Embossing Folder<\/a> for the background and played with Distress Crayons Rusty Hinge<\/a>, Ground Espresso<\/a> and Peeled Paint<\/a> to give it even more realistic look. For the frame she used one of the Window Frames<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used the newly released Tim Holtz Stamps and Stencil Noteworthy<\/a> for the sentiment and in the background Eccentric<\/a> and Freight<\/a>. Also for the background she used Distress Oxide Ink<\/a> and Distress Oxide Spray<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
