Whether you\u2019re into succulents (so popular in stamping right now!), fruits, great big pine trees, nature scenes, flowers, or leaves this week we challenge you to do something with a plant. It could be using a floral embellishment, stamping a tree, stenciling a leaf pattern, or perhaps creating something with new succulent stamps. The details are up to you – we just want to see what plants (or plant parts!) you love crafting with this week.<\/p>\n

First up – our newest design team member! Cheiron<\/a> loves colorful flowers and she has created a trifold flower card.<\/p>\n

Colorful flowers bring me so much joy. The best thing about this trifold card is that these flowers never need to be watered. I cut my card base out of Ranger Watercolor Paper<\/a> and stamped and colored in the flowers from the\u00a0Tim Holtz Flower Garden<\/a> stamp set with Distress Markers and a water brush . After coloring, I cut a few of the flowers and leaves to give them added dimension.<\/em><\/p>\n

Botanic in crafting is something that Sandra<\/a> loves!<\/p>\n

I wish I had green fingers so I could keep my plants in my home alive, but that’s not in the cards for me… The vibe of botanical is something I love also in crafting, and those will live forever! I adore the Tattered Flower Garland<\/a> and the Spring Greenery<\/a> dies! I cut them out with Bazzill Kraft Cardstock<\/a> and painted them with Distress Paints<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> loves to decorate her craft space with flowers and mixed media canvas.<\/p>\n

This week I decided to decorate my craft space with more flowers and canvas on the wall. I started this project with applying Prima Flowers White Heavy Gesso<\/a> and Distress Paint<\/a> on the background of the canvas, then I applied Ranger Crackle Accents<\/a> to make the aged texture. Some Prima Flowers Vintage Trinkets<\/a> and Paper Flowers<\/a> were added to complete this wall hanging.<\/em><\/p>\n

Michelle<\/a> has discovered a new way to keep a friendship growing.<\/p>\n

This Triptych Bi-Fold Letter has lots of room for fun things that can be easily embellished. The Striped Flowers from Altenew<\/a> are fun to color with a White Signo Pen<\/a>. Having a pen-pal has never been more fun!<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a faux glass pen topped with a glitzy flower.<\/p>\n

I’ve seen some amazing pens made out of glass tubes that are soldered at both ends. But I didn’t have any glass tubes and haven’t mastered the art of soldering yet. But nevermind! I managed to make a faux glass pen using the Avery Elle Embellish It Flower die<\/a>, some silver crushed glass glitter<\/a>, and some Tim Holtz crinkle ribbon<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a summery journal page filled with plants.<\/p>\n

I enjoy building plants and layering different plant stamps, which is what I did here, using Hero Art’s Stamp Your Own Plant set<\/a>. The stamping and background was done with Distress Inks. I placed myself into the meadow using the You & Me<\/a> set by Sizzix, which was also used to die cut the clouds and sun. More sentiments were added with Small Talk stickers<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Suzz<\/a> is in the month of graduations & awards nights for her girls.<\/p>\n

This month we have been to many events where our middle daughter is finishing up her activities in preparation for heading off to college. This has us presenting her with flowers. I decided to cut out the fresh flowers as our house was starting to look like a florists and focus on creating my own bouquet for her and sweeten the flowers with a few gift cards. The colors consisted of Ranger Distress Stain Spray Mustard Seed<\/a>, Barn Door, <\/a>and Fired Brick<\/a>. Some tissue paper and some beautiful flower stems<\/a> and a flowery bouquet is at hand.<\/em><\/p>\n

Although we are very close at the beginning of the summer season, the theme of our challenge took Barbara<\/a> immediately with the thought to the spring!<\/p>\n

This is the time of year flowers and plants are born again and with their colors and their brightness are so striking to our eyes. I thought of using my new tiny tattered florals dies <\/a>to make the skirt of my dress form and celebrate in this way the theme of our challenge. Twisted citron<\/a>, Peacock feather, Abandoned coral are the stars of my altered burlap panel<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The whole family love gardening at Ashli’s<\/a> house…<\/p>\n

We love gardening and learning about gardening. To scrap this story, I doodled plenty of houses with my Pitt Pen<\/a>, added some adorable Amy Tangerine alphas<\/a>, and finished things off with some puffy sticker embellishments<\/a>. I love having this page scrapped of my home grown girlies!<\/em><\/p>\n

Emma’s<\/a> wallhanging is packed full of the beautiful colours of summer!<\/p>\n

As I watered my garden late one evening, the idea for this home decor piece popped into my head ~ the reason I was standing there watering was “for the love of plants”. So with this in mind, the next day, I began creating my garden scene and applied Texture Paste<\/a> through the Bricked layering stencil<\/a> to make a background for my watering can<\/a> which is surrounded by pretty flowers all die cut from the Tattered Garland Die<\/a>. To complete the project, I added a hanger<\/a> so that I could proudly display it in my home!<\/em><\/p>\n

Mixing and matching mediums from watercolor pencils<\/a> to colored pens<\/a> and more – I am really into coloring plants lately! I love taking the opportunity to work outdoors and combine color play with my drawing practice!<\/p>\n
