Hi there! Mona Pendleton<\/a> here to share how to create beautifully textured foil tape<\/a> die cut flower embellishments using the following products: foil tape<\/a>, embossing folder<\/a> and alcohol inks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To create the pretty textured flowers shown on my project below, I used the following products: foil tape<\/a>, grunge paper<\/a>, embossing folder<\/a>, alcohol ink<\/a>, floral<\/a> die and a button<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To begin I adhered the foil tape to a piece of grunge paper then die cut.<\/p>\n

\"SSSAugDottyEmbossedFlowers\"<\/p>\n

I added texture by dry embossing each layer of the flower.<\/p>\n

\"SSSAugDottyInkedFlowers\"<\/p>\n

To add color and depth, I dabbed on alcohol inks allowing each color to dry prior to adding the next.<\/p>\n

Allow ink to dry, adhere layers together then adhere button to center.<\/p>\n

Once I had the flower embellishment made, I decided I wanted more so I repeated the steps mentioned above and created a few more flowers to embellish my wall hanging with.<\/p>\n

To tone down the shine of the metallic foil flowers, I dabbed on white acrylic paint<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I love the texture and dimension that is created simply by using an embossing folder and a few alcohol inks. I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today and hope I’ve inspired you to create.<\/p>\n
