Now this week for our challenge it is the usual rules: anything goes!<\/p>\n

Emma’s<\/a> love of fashion, inspired her runway tag collection!<\/p>\n

Inspired by spring and summer catwalk fashion, I created this triptych of tags using Tim Holtz’s Runway<\/a> and Cityscapes<\/a> stamp sets. I’d noticed that yellow had been a key colour for this season’s shows and recreated this on my stamped images by colouring each one using a combination of Mustard Seed<\/a> and Squeezed Lemonade<\/a> Distress Markers before mounting them onto backgrounds coloured with Distress Paints and textured with Texture Paste<\/a>, applied through the Lace layering stencil<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ashli<\/a> was inspired by Prize Ribbons this week…<\/p>\n

One of my favorite ways to use scraps is to craft up little prize ribbon embellishments. And since anything goes, I figured I would do just that! Using some lovely Basic Grey papers<\/a>, along with some Wood Embellishments<\/a>, I created my Prize Ribbon! A few little Word Stickers<\/a> complete this page all about the importance of Amazon Prime in our lives!<\/em><\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> created a mixed media canvas to display on her desktop.<\/p>\n

I really loved this sentiment so I decided to make a canvas this week using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp 2015 Life Quotes<\/a>. To create the texture, I applied Modeling Paste<\/a> over Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Measured<\/a>, and distressed the edges with Ranger Paint Dabber<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Suzz<\/a> was inspired by the lovely Memory Box Heartwood stencil<\/a> to create a mixed media art display.<\/p>\n

Since this week was anything goes I decided to pick up a scrap piece of cardboard and play with my new stencil. I layered on Wendi Vecchi white embossing paste<\/a> on top of a coat of white and light blue paint to give me texture. The design made me think of fairies in the forest. What better image than the whimsical Prima Don’t forget to fly<\/a> Finnabair inspired stamp to be the focal point of my art.<\/em><\/p>\n

Michelle<\/a> was inspired by woodcut block prints.<\/p>\n

I’ve often admired woodcut prints. This adoration lead me to experiment with stamps to find a similar look. The Ellen Vargo Paper Artsy Stamps <\/a>were perfect for this technique. The pots in the Waffle Flower Planted Set<\/a> made a simple focal point for these faux woodcuts.<\/em><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin <\/a>had fun making three mixed-media envelopes.

\n I really wanted to ink up Tim Holtz new Cityscapes<\/a> stamps and went with a travel theme on three die cut envelopes<\/a>. To embellish the envelopes I used Fragments<\/a>, more stamps<\/a>, die cut shapes<\/a> and words<\/a>. There is also an important message on a card inside each envelope. I plan to hang the envelopes in the Clip Carousel<\/a> where they will be easily accessible.<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made some sweet little baby headbands this week.<\/p>\n

I have learned that people have strong and widely-varying opinions about baby headbands. The pro-headband camp likes how they break up the monotony of a baby’s bald head. The anti-headband folks think it’s silly to have a headband without any hair. A third group likes headbands, but not when the flower on it is as big as the baby’s head. Whatever your stance, I made some baby headbands this week using fabric, my Sizzix Big Shot<\/a>, Tim Holtz’s Tattered Florals<\/a> die and the 3D rose die<\/a> from Sizzix.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> made a card for a colleague that just had surgery
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

My colleaque had a major surgery and had to make a card for him. I find it a challenge to make a masculine card but with lots of feminine touches. Like making a bow out of Jute<\/a> and add some glitter here and there with the Wink of Stella Glittery Brush<\/a>. But by using blue tones and lots of black it gives it a masculine feel.<\/em><\/p>\n

I (May<\/a>) am jumping the gun with a great product coming soon to the shop.<\/p>\n

The new Prima relics line will be in the shop SO soon! I happen to have this heart from the line and since “anything goes” this week decided to jump the gun and share a small canvas piece primed with gesso and then loaded with dylusions paints<\/a> and other color mediums. To finish things off? New idea-ology sticker phrases<\/a>, of course!<\/p>\n
