Dry Emboss <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many fabulous embossing folders available to purchase, but you can also make your own, or use stencils and dies to emboss too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> used a “faux dry embossing technique” using Tim Holtz’s Cutout Upper Thinlits<\/a> dies, the Sizzix Big Shot<\/a>, and some lovely Dina Wakley Gloss Spray in Night<\/a>, Blackberry<\/a>, and Mineral<\/a> to make her card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an art journal page with a butterfly theme. Tim Holtz Backdrops paper<\/a> was dry embossed with the Simon Says Stamp Blossom Field folder<\/a>. The quote comes from Simon Says Stamp Thoughtful Flowers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> has started her Halloween production! She made an Etcetera tag Small<\/a> using two Tim Holtz Sizzix Lumber<\/a> and Brickwork<\/a> 3D embossing folders. She added the flowers from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set Dearly Departed<\/a>. She created various textures with the new Tim Holtz Ranger Paste Grave (Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste set) <\/a>and Crackle Texture Paste<\/a>. Idea-ology Creepy eyes<\/a> are the final touch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> used one of her favorite Simon Says Stamp Embossing folders, Tumbled Hexagons<\/a> to dry emboss a background for her card. She colored with a rainbow of Distress Inks<\/a> and finished the card with the CZ Designs Swoopy Oh Crap<\/a> die and a Craptastic<\/a> sentiment strip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created 2 Autumn themed cards for the price of one using panels of Distress White<\/a> and Kraft Heavy Stock<\/a> embossed with Tim Holtz Foliage 3D Texture Fades<\/a> and coloured with Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> and Halloween Mica Sprays<\/a>. She die-cut the other 2 panels with Tim Holtz Countryside Thinlits<\/a> and used the waste pop-outs to decorate her cards. She added Simon Says Stamp Welcome <\/a>die cut sentiments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a> made a card using a Tim Holtz Bricked Layering stencil<\/a> to emboss the background. She used Hickory Smoke<\/a>, Candied Apple<\/a> and Spiced Marmalade<\/a> inks and sprinkled Paper Artsy Sunset Beach Infusions<\/a>. She used Katzelkraft Les Chats Russes<\/a> and KTZ 205 Balloons<\/a> rubber stamps and finished with a Tim Holtz Label Sticker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made an encouragement card for her friend using Tim Holtz Sizzix Mechanicals 3D embossing folder<\/a> as a base panel. She decided to put the fabulous brain from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Weird Science<\/a> stamp set and just give it some brown shades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made a set of embossed cards using Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Butterfly Impresslit <\/a> and Kaleidoscope embossing folder.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Interwined 3 D Texture Fades Embossing Folder<\/a> for the texture on the background, and decorated it with AALL & Create Basic Veggies Clear Stamp Set<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Lace Baseboard Frame<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a pink card using Opal Magic Rose Gold<\/a> and Infusions Sunset Beach<\/a>, she gave her Paper Doll<\/a> wings with the Winged Impresslit<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used the new released Tim Holtz dies Toil And Trouble<\/a> and Mini Foundry 3D Texture Fade Embossing Folder<\/a> to decorate this tag. She also used Tim’s new Tim Holtz Distress MICA STAIN SET 2 Ranger tshk77442<\/a> to add color and Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste Matte<\/a> to create texture around the coulderon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
