It\u2019s Megumi’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us! Good Luck with the Olympics! :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megumi <\/a>made a pop-up card using a Tim Holtz Harrison Die <\/a>cut covered the pieces with Tim Holtz Vintage Design Tape <\/a>.  She used Salvaged Patina<\/a> and Spiced Marmalade<\/a> Distress Stain and Tim Holtz Professor 2<\/a> and Faded Type<\/a> stamp sets for the background. Harrison<\/a> pops up when you open the card. Please pop by Megumi’s blog to see the video. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a tag with a background created with Tim Holtz Design Tape<\/a>. The house was made with Tim’s Paper Village set<\/a> and the tree comes from the Funky Trees set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> used Tim Holtz Design Tape Vintage Design<\/a> to create the focal point of her card together with Tim Holtz Sizzix The Gent<\/a>! She completes this project with a stamp from Inquisitive set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous<\/a>. She realized the background using the new Ranger Ink Distress Color, Prize Ribbon<\/a>, Salvaged Patina<\/a>, Cracked Pistachio<\/a>, and Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D embossing folder Mechanics.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ch<\/a>e<\/a>iron<\/a> created a mini slimline mixed media style card and used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Chatter Design tape on her painted panel. She created the layers using Distress Paints, then stenciled over them using the Mini Stitches stencil from Mini Stencil Set 33<\/a> and the Plus<\/a> Layering stencil. She finished her card with Media Marks 1<\/a> and 2<\/a> stamps and an Idea-ology Small Talk<\/a> Sticker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> has been an avid collector of Tim Holtz Design Tape<\/a> for many years and had more than enough to go wild with on her trio of cards. She used Prize Ribbon Distress Ink<\/a> and Distress Oxide Ink<\/a> with Crackling Campfire Distress Ink<\/a> to create the background, added strips of Design Tape<\/a>, Ideaology Layers Engraving<\/a> coloured with Distress Crayons<\/a> and Sentiments Label Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a> made a card using a variety of washi tape<\/a> and a Tim Holtz Snarky Cat Stamp Set<\/a>. For the background she splattered with Distress Resist<\/a> and spritzed with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Spray<\/a> and then used a Tim Holtz Ringer Layering Stencil <\/a>and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a vintage card using Simon Says Stamp Abstract Triangle Stencil <\/a>for the background and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Halloween Design Tape<\/a> which she stitched to get more texture. She used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Destination <\/a>and Retro Type<\/a> dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made her own washi tape using Dina Wakley Sticky Back Canvas Tape <\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Observations set<\/a>, and Dina Wakley paints like Ocean.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Vintage Design Tape<\/a> on the background that covered with Tim Holtz Backdrops Volume 2<\/a>, and added sentients using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Chatter Design Tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a>  loves Washi Tape very much and used a lot of different AALL & Create Washi Tape<\/a> in the background, for the colors she only used Infusion In The Navy<\/a> and Metallique Paint Stormy Ocean<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used a bunch of Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Designer Tape<\/a> to add some texture to the background. She also used the tape to decorate her focal point. For the background she used the new Distress Color Prize Ribbon<\/a>, mixed with Peeled paint <\/a>and Seedless Preserve.<\/a> For decoration, she used Tim Holtz Layering Stencil <\/a>, Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps PRESSED FOLIAGE<\/a> (in gold embossing) and a beautiful photo from Idea-Ology Photoboot. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
