Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Red\/White\/Blue Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to add something a little oddball with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun and Quirky<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Katzelkraft<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Megumi aka Ink-Lady Blue<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her instagram gallery or Ink Lady Blue blog<\/a> before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megumi <\/a> created an interactive card using a Katzelkraft stamp \/chats<\/a> and a Tim Holtz Snarky Cat<\/a>. She used a  Mechanical Bigz Die<\/a>, Brick Work<\/a> and Circuit Texture Fade 3D Embossing Folders<\/a>, Salvaged Patina<\/a> Distress Paint<\/a>, and Distress Inks<\/a> for the background. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a fun steampunk card using the KatzelKraft Robot Chien stamp<\/a>. The background was embossed in Simon Says Stamp Lumen embossing folder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created a couple of tags using KatzelKraft Background Halftones <\/a>mixed with two stencils by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Dotted Line<\/a> – Gradient Square<\/a> and the sentiments from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inquisitive stamps set<\/a>. At the center, she used two fun bunnies from Tim Holtz Sizzix Bunny Hope<\/a> and painted her backgrounds with various Ranger Distress Inks Spray Stain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a card with a quirky little coffee drinker, the Katzelkraft Chien Enervy<\/a>…she paired her stamped image with an inky background created with Distress Inks and the Stampers Anonymous Spills and Splats <\/a>and School Desk<\/a> stamps. She finished her card with a sentiment using a Small Talk Snarky<\/a> Tim Holtz Idea-ology sticker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma’s<\/a> background for her quirky card featured the Katzelkraft Etoile Background stamp<\/a> embossed with Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder<\/a>. As the main focal point she used the ‘grand duke’ from Stampers Anonymous Observations stamp set by Tim Holtz<\/a> and added a quote taken from the Halloween Snarky Cats<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a set of notecards using the floral images from Katzelkraft Fleurs stamp set<\/a>.  She had lots of fun adding colour in a very loose “outside the lines” style using Tim Holtz Distress Re-inkers<\/a>. She matted the panels on to co-ordinating coloured Simon Says cardstock<\/a> and used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk Snarky Stickers<\/a> and a little bit of doodling to add a quirky twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a> used a Katzelkraft Les Chiens Stamp Set<\/a> to make a fun birthday card. For the background she splattered with Distress Resist<\/a> and spritzed with Faded Jeans <\/a>and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide <\/a>Sprays. She used a Tim Holtz Digits Layering Stencil<\/a> and added some script using Faded Jeans Archival Ink<\/a>. She added a few balloons<\/a> to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> has helped this cute Katzelkraft Chien Enervy<\/a> doggy to pack up in Tim Holtz Sizzix Baggage Claim<\/a> dies suitcases and be ready to go. Due to the Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Cactus<\/a> and Destination<\/a> she thinks the doggy is planning some exotic journey. What an envy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made a quirky love card using Katzelkraft’s Robot Chien<\/a> stamp and their Carte Postale set<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Katzelkarft Giraffe in the Cloud Rubber Stamp<\/a> and colored it with Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint<\/a> then added sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Snarky Small Talk Stickers<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> loves the super cute Enervy stamp<\/a> from Katzelkraft<\/a>, gave him some handmade pair of geeky glasses, and added texture to the background with the Circuit 3D Embossing folder<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
