Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Artist Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to use a variety of mediums on your project, eg paint, embossing paste\/powder, inks, sprays etc <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mixed Media<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Dina Wakley<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming back the lovely Nikki Acton, aka Addicted To Art,<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nikki <\/a> used Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paints<\/a> and a Scribbly Birds Stamp Set<\/a> to create her mixed media cards. She also used texture paste and Bubble<\/a> and Splotches<\/a> layering stencils by Tim Holtz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an art journal page in Dina Wakley’s White Journal<\/a> featuring two sweet birds. The birds and sentiment come from Dina’s Scribbly Birds set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created two motivation tags using Dina Wakley Ranger Collage Words<\/a>, Dina Wakley Ranger Botanicals Chipboard Shapes<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Layering Stencil Strings<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Glitch 2 <\/a>and, Dina Wakley Ranger Marine Media Gloss Spray<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a tag to add to her journal using Dina Wakley Collage Collective 2<\/a> as the base of her tag. She added bits of paper from her stash and layered some stamps from the Stampers Anonymous Collaged Girls<\/a> and Be Willing<\/a> stamp sets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> used Dina Wakley’s Media Journal<\/a>, Clear Gesso<\/a> and White Gesso<\/a> to create a vintage style layout inspired by her grandmother. She combined Dina’s products with Tim Holtz’s Botanical Collage Paper<\/a> to create the floral background and added a Found Relative<\/a> photo as the focal point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decorated a Dina Wakley 5″ x 7″ Canvas Art Panel with a Summer Vibes theme using Dina Wakley Media Acrylic paints<\/a>, Curly Frond Media Mask\/Stencil<\/a>, Faces<\/a> and Just Words<\/a> Collage Papers and added flowers die-cut using Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Funky Floral Large<\/a> Thinlits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> went soft and delicate using Dina Wakley Curly Frond<\/a> stencil. She gave the leaf texture with Nuvo Embellishment Mousses<\/a>. For the background she used Pumice Stone<\/a> and Old Paper Oxide Sprays<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> was inspired by fashion to create a mixed media tag using Dina Wakley’s Persona Chipboard Shapes<\/a>, her Textures Cling stamp set<\/a>, Dina Wakley Ranger Gloss Sprays like Lime<\/a>, and Dina’s acrylic paints such as Tangerine<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media wall decor using Prima Marketing Venetian Shutters Memory Hardware<\/a>, colored it with Dina Wakley Ranger Turquoise Media Acrylic Paint<\/a> and Fuchsia color<\/a>, and decorated it with Prima Flowers<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Sentiment Label Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra <\/a>went for the most vibrant colors ever on her mixed media card, she loves the combo of Gloss Spray Lemon <\/a>and Magenta<\/a>, and had to use the Collaged Girls Stamp set<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
