Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the  Easter\/Spring Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LAYER IT <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely  Autumn aka SewPaperPaint <\/a>into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autumn<\/a> created a spring greeting with the Tim Holtz Brushstroke Flowers 2 dies<\/a> with Botanical Layers Ideaology<\/a> on a stamped background made with the Fragments stamp set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an art journal page this week, adding layers with paint stamping and stenciling. She used Tim Holtz Gradient Dot stencil<\/a> together with Distress Texture Paste<\/a>. The birds are from Tim Holtz Feathered Friends set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a fun layered tag using a monoprint she made with the Stampers Anonymous Ringer<\/a> Stencil. She layered Tim Holtz Entomology Collage Paper<\/a>, Transparent Wings<\/a> and a Paper Doll<\/a>. She finished her tag with some Clippings<\/a> stickers and a number from the Sizzix Countdown <\/a>Thinlits dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to layers, Emma<\/a> was in her element and from start to finish, she added layer upon layer of Tim Holtz products to create her vintage style panel, which includes a resist technique background using Distress Paint and Distress Spray Stains<\/a>, a layer of die cut Mechanical<\/a> gears and finishing with a vintage Photo Booth image, layered behind a Stencil Chip<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created layers on her Dina Wakley Media Journal<\/a> page using Distress Paints<\/a>, Idea-ology Typography<\/a>, Entomology<\/a> and Botanical<\/a> Collage Papers, Distress Crackle Texture Paste<\/a> with Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Mosaic Mini Layering Stencil<\/a> and Halftone and Rings<\/a> stamp set. She also added layers of  the Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Brushstroke Flowers 3 Thinlits<\/a> flower to add more dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> played with the resist technique using Picket Fence Distress Paint<\/a> and several Distress Sprays<\/a>. She made a mountain scene with Tim Holtz Sizzix Alpine <\/a> and Merry Moose Thinlits<\/a> dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> went pink and feminine with her tag this week, using the Tim Holtz Engraving Layers<\/a>, Quote Flairs <\/a>and Mini Flairs<\/a>, layering them up on the Tim Holtz #8 Etcetera Tag<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the Stamperia Cosmos Paper<\/a> on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Odds and Ends Embellishments<\/a> and Idea-Ology Metallic Sticker Book<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a lots of layers on this card with Typeset Collage Paper<\/a>, Urban Layers<\/a> and Texture Paste<\/a> with the Deco Arch stencil<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Zoey <\/a>used a combination of Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENTOMOLOGY Collage Paper<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology BACKDROPS VOLUME 1<\/a> to create the background of this tag. She then layered bunch of Distress Paint <\/a>to achieve her background color. The Tim Holtz Sizzix FACETED HEART Thinlits Die<\/a> was perfect for this tag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
