Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> says that maybe you can’t change the weather, but you can change the way you think about things! She made a gorgeous home decor piece using a Tim Holtz The Park<\/a> Die Set, for the background she used Multi-Level Texture Fades Swirls<\/a> and give it a natural touch she added some Funky Nature<\/a> flowers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an art journal page about the beauty even of a rainy day. She worked on scrap pieces of paper and used the Simon Says Stamp Forest Scenery stamp set<\/a> as well as the Capital B Beautiful die<\/a>. The page was done in Dina Wakley’s Media Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron <\/a>is hoping for some sunnier days and created a tag with Distress Spray Stains<\/a> and Distress Matte Texture paste<\/a> and the Stampers Anonymous Rays<\/a> stencil inspired by the latest Tim Holtz Saturday demo. She added a Paper Doll<\/a>, along with some wings created with the Sizzix Winged<\/a> 3D Impresslits and stars cut from Swirling Stars <\/a>dies. She finished her tag with Remnant Rubs<\/a> and some Clippings <\/a>stickers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> created a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag and used a solo Paper Doll<\/a> sitting on an umbrella, die cut using The Gent Thinlits Die Set by Tim Holtz<\/a>. She created a background using Tim Holtz Distress Inks<\/a> and Oxide Inks<\/a> before adding Transluscent Grit Paste through a Tim Holtz Mini Layering Stencil<\/a>, and embossing with Distress Embossing Glaze<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created an Art Journal page featuring that age old saying “April Showers bring May Flowers” using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Architecture<\/a>, Faded Type<\/a> and Grunged<\/a>, Splotches<\/a> and Mini Floral<\/a> Layering Stencils to add interest to the background and decorated with the umbrella from Tim Holtz\/Sizzix The Gent<\/a>, flowers from Funky Nature<\/a> and Aphanumeric Stretch Lower<\/a>, Bold<\/a> and Tiny Type Upper <\/a>Thinlits for the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a colorful and vibrant card using Simon Says Stamp Follow The Rainbows <\/a>stamp and Tim Holtz Sizzix Brushstroke Flowers 2<\/a> die. She built the background with printing technique using Visible Image Reinassaince stencil.<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> has been dreaming of spring, so she created a card to celebrate it, no matter the weather. She used Tim Holtz and Sizzix The Park<\/a>, Funky Trees<\/a>, and Funky Toadstools<\/a> die sets, along with Tim’s Kitsch Flamingo ink<\/a> to create a pink sky. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Rays<\/a> to create the sunshine on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Feathered Friends Thinlet Die<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a sunny card hoping Spring will come soon, and used the Rays stencil<\/a> with Texture Paste<\/a> and mostly used Liquid Acrylics True Yellow<\/a> and Avocado Green<\/a> to add color to it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey <\/a>used Distress Paint to add color to the background of her tag, she also used Distress Crayons in Salty Ocean<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea Ology Typeset collage paper<\/a> to add some interest to the background. The new set of SOLOS Paper Dolls<\/a> have such a fantastic size that are perfect for tags and the cute little index clips is a nice metal touch<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
