It’s Makena’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us! Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a fabulous 2021!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Makena<\/a> “There is no greater magic than a child celebrating the wonder of the season” She cut some Chipboard<\/a> to shape, and coloured the base with Gesso<\/a> and Speckled Egg Distress Ink<\/a>. She used various background stamps, Tim Holtz Destinations<\/a> and Tree Line Dies<\/a>, Paper Dolls<\/a>, she finished off with Distress Flakes<\/a>, Mica Spray<\/a> and Ideology Elements<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a circle wall-hanging to celebrate life. She used Tim Holtz Holiday Village Colorize dies<\/a> and Snow Flurries by SSS<\/a>. Some of the snowflakes were die cut from SSS Aqua Holographic paper<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created a trio of cards to celebrate Christmas with one of her favorite color palettes: gold, white, black and kraft! She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Stunning Snowflake<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Bold Tidings 3<\/a>, Christmastime 3<\/a>, The Poinsettia<\/a> and Mini stencil set 50<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> is celebrating the arrival of Santa with a colorful card using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Vintage Holidays<\/a> and Holiday Postmarks<\/a>. She used the smudge stamping technique to stamp the postmarks for the background of her card with all the bright colors of Distress Oxides<\/a> and finished her card with some stitching and some Christmas Flair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> created a vintage style card to celebrate Christmas, and used her favourite stamp from the Stampers Anonymous Holiday Scenes stamp set by Tim Holtz<\/a> as the main image. She added an arrangement of foliage, die cut using a combination of dies including Tiny Tattered Florals<\/a> for pine cones and Mini Holiday Greens<\/a> before completing the card with a velvet ribbon trim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a card using Festive Greenery to celebrate Mother Nature, even in a year when there has been little to celebrate, it’s a reminder that the wonders of nature and the simple things in life can still bring so much joy into our lives. She used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Forest Floor<\/a> stamped on a Distress Oxide<\/a> blended background with the Bold Tidings 2<\/a> sentiment embossed with Simon Says Antique Gold Detail<\/a> and Retro Flakes<\/a> embossed with Ranger Superfine White<\/a> Embossing Powders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a Christmas card by fussy cutting several elements from P13 The Four Seasons WINTER paper pads<\/a> and place it on a mixed media panel made with Prima Marketing Swirly Florals stenci<\/a>l with the Tim Holtz Sizzix Destination die<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> headed to the Tim Holtz Funny Farm<\/a> to make a last minute set of Christmas celebration cards. She made Santa hats using the Tim Holtz Crazy Things Stamp Set<\/a> and used Simple Stories Vintage North Pole papers<\/a> and Carta Bella Dear Santa Ephemera<\/a> to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a Christmas card to celebrate the holidays using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp 2020 Bold Tidings 3<\/a> and embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder Gold<\/a>. The card was decorated with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny Bell Findings<\/a> and Darice Tiny Star Silver Sequins<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> is in celebration mode for her friends birthday and used Collage Paper Botanical<\/a> with Soft Matte Gel<\/a> in the background and she give it color with Liquid Acrylic True Yellow<\/a> and Distress Paint Speckled Egg<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Z<\/a>oey <\/a>used Tim Holtz Sizzix PAPER VILLAGE Thinlits Dies<\/a> to create this little village. She also used Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps 2020 BOLD TIDINGS 3<\/a> , pieces of Tim Holtz Idea-ology DOCUMENT Collage Paper<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS TRIM TAPE<\/a> to decorate the surroindings.
