Hi everyone, Mona<\/a> here today to share a tutorial on how to create a crackled textured Christmas ornament. I love to create home made ornaments to give as gifts to friends or loved ones so I opted to alter a bare wooden sled ornament.<\/p>\n

To begin, I applied a coat of Gesso to the ornament.<\/p>\n

Once dry, apply coat of crackled texture paste.<\/p>\n

While texture paste dries, die cut Tattered Pinecones and Pine sprigs using Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Pinecone die.<\/p>\n

Create pinecones, apply picket fence Distress Paint to both pinecones and Tidings Token followed with Diamond Dust to pinecones only. Apply peeled paint Distress Ink to pine sprigs.<\/p>\n

Apply antiqued bronze Distress Paint to sled runners and vintage photo and weathered wood Distress Inks to sled.<\/p>\n

Embellish with die cut shapes, bow and Tidings Token.<\/p>\n
