I’ve discovered a fun and inexpensive way to dress up the holiday gifts this season. Stamped Gift Picks! I came up with the idea recently while shopping for floral picks at my local craft store. I like to use them on my Christmas gifts to make them pretty, but the cost was ridiculous. After figuring the expense of the pricey floral picks, I put them all back on the shelf and vowed to make my own this year. So, that’s what I did!<\/p>\n

\"Stamped<\/p>\n

To create the picks, I chose holiday images from the Styled Woodlands <\/a>stamp set. To create a multi-colored image, I colored directly on the stamp with Distress Markers<\/a>. A quick spritz of water from the Mini Mister <\/a>activates the water based ink and allows me stamp a beautifully clean multi-colored image.<\/p>\n

The “pick”, or stick, part was fun to make. The Woodgrain Washi <\/a>gave it a fun “faux” stick appearance.<\/p>\n

There are currently many steel dies on the market to create Paper Bows<\/a>. Stamp “To” and “From” from the Simon Says Stamp Envelope Sentiments <\/a>stamp set on the “tail” portion before assembling.<\/p>\n

I can make tons of these….FOR PENNIES!<\/p>\n
