Alison<\/a> says-  I’m creating an aura of menace this week with a pair of tags offering double trouble.  These grungy backgrounds started as mop-up tags, using up leftover scrapings of texture paste from Tim Holtz’s Bricked<\/a> and Mosaic stencils<\/a>, with lots of Distress Inks and Oxides<\/a> over that and then the wonderful Tangled Webs<\/a> hanging over everything.  The Corked Vials<\/a> (filled with who-knows-what vile potions and powders) and Skulls<\/a> stand on hand-built shelves, but the Boneyard bones<\/a> seem to have fallen off!  Come and see more, including where I found my “found text”, over at Words and Pictures<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a quirky Halloween sign using Whimsy Stamps’ Monster Parade<\/a> die set. She brought the background to life using Izink Ice Glaze (Frostbite<\/a>, Winter’s Night<\/a>, Crystal Waters<\/a> and Arctic Grape<\/a>), Altenew’s Many Dots<\/a> washi tape and My Favorite Things’ Wonky Dots<\/a> stencil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> created a spooky house where wanderers might get lost. She used Tim Holtz Haunted die set<\/a> to die cut the house and the planks were stamped with SSS Wood Planks background stamp<\/a>. The spider web and spiders come from Tim’s Spider Web set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> made a spooky panel using Tim Holtz Sketch Manor Stamps Set <\/a>and various Ranger Alcohol Inks<\/a> to end her season of Halloween themed projects. She added an Idea-Ology Paper Doll<\/a> and completed the panel with some Creepy Eyes <\/a>and Trim Tape<\/a> on all edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a tag using lots of Tim Holtz Idea-ology products including the Mini Departed Paper Stash<\/a> as the base of her tag, Halloween Paper Dolls<\/a>, Ephemera<\/a> and Curiosities<\/a> stickers. She added some masks from the Sizzix Masquerade<\/a> die and a Spiderweb<\/a>. To finish the tag she added a Quote Chip and some Black Soot Distress Paint <\/a>using a Splatter Brush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element creating a piece of home decor using Tim Holtz Vignette Boxes<\/a> as a base for her spooky apothecary cabinet. She upcycled some glass bottles and combined these with Tim’s corked vials<\/a>, and Laboratory<\/a>, before applying texture with Rock Candy Crackle Paint<\/a> and colouring each bottle with alcohol inks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath <\/a>created a spooky page in her Dylusions Small Creative Journal <\/a>using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Halloween Snarky Cats<\/a>, Sketched Manor<\/a> and Anatomy Chart<\/a> along with Deco Arch<\/a> and Script<\/a> Layering Stencils<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> is not a Halloween crafter but she did her best to make a creepy tag with one of the Tim Holtz Framed Portraits Halloween<\/a> and the bugs from Tim Holtz Specimen<\/a> set. She embossed the bugs with Simon Says Stamp Black Embossing Powder Ultrafine Detail<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made a spooky card with the Brutus Monroe Twisted Tree die<\/a>, Tim Holtz’s Snarky Cats stamps<\/a>, and Daniel Smith watercolors like Permanent Orange.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media spooky Halloween tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Monstrous<\/a> and decorated it with Idea-Ology Stitched Scraps Embellishments<\/a> and Skulls and Pumpkins<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a spooky card with a Halloween Paper Doll<\/a> and the wings of the Royal Script stamp set<\/a>. She used a Creepy Eye<\/a> and colored it with Mushroom Alcohol Ink<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey <\/a>used Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN PAPER DOLLS<\/a>, Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Worn Wallpaper<\/a> and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps 2020 SKETCH MANOR<\/a> to decorate this spooky tag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
