Halloween is just days away, and while not everyone will be celebrating, surely you all like to be inspired by treats! From a sweet gift bag to making a crafty treat for a friend, making a candy inspired card or journaling about your favorite desserts – we can\u2019t wait to see what kind of a treat you are inspired to craft this week.<\/p>\n

Michelle’s<\/a> favorite treats are a temptation all year long!<\/p>\n

My favorite treat is the donut. So sweet and Delicious! The Simon Exclusive, “I Love Donuts” stamp set <\/a>was enough to make me drool. Especially when a touch of Diamond Glaze <\/a>created the perfect frosting. No calories!<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> thinks a test tube pennant makes the perfect Halloween treat.<\/p>\n

Who doesn’t love eyeballs at this time of year? These corked domes<\/a> are so fun to fill with all sorts of creepy things. For this project, I filled it with good old googly eyes<\/a> and then attached it to a tag I made using the Sizzix Tag Set<\/a> and a Tim Holtz Halloween blueprint stamp<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

When I (May<\/a>) started to work on this challenge I went more with some tricks instead of treats.<\/p>\n

Layering an embossed image<\/a>, texture from paste<\/a>, and various stencils<\/a> I was able to create a lot of depth on this tag. I simply love the results! Usually I’m a candy and all things pumpkin and cute kind of crafter this time of year so I really enjoyed going to a darker, spookier place with this week’s challenge.<\/p>\n

Mona<\/a> was inspired to decorate a Halloween treat bag for her husband.<\/p>\n

Now that my children are all young adults, trick or treating days are long gone but no one in my family, including my dear husband Scott, is too old to receive a decorated treat bag! I randomly stamped a brown paper gift bag with the Speckles<\/a> stamp then I created a mixed media rectangular panel to adhere to the front of the bag. I added texture using Texture Paste<\/a> along with various Distress Paints<\/a> for color. I topped it off with a heat embossed spider web image from Mini Blueprint<\/a> which I layered on top of a Rosette<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> got into the spirit of treats.<\/p>\n

Halloween is a holiday not yet very popular here in Italy, even if the children are already very involved with the idea of “trick or treat”!\u00a0 Just for kids I created this packaging, a small bag<\/a> with skull and spider web <\/a>and a wrap for chocolate in the traditional colors of Halloween. What I enjoyed most was shrinking Tim’s\u00a0 bat and spider<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a sweet little treat bag.

\n My son loves little bags and boxes and I knew he would want a Halloween one. I used Tim Holtz In The Bag die <\/a>for the base and die cut an owl window<\/a>. Behind the window there is a piece of Frosted Film <\/a>coloured with Adirondack Alcohol Ink and stamped. The background was done with a stencil<\/a>, stamps and Distress Ink.<\/em><\/p>\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element creating home crafted decorations and filling them with treats for Halloween.<\/p>\n

There are so many uses for the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board<\/a> and one of those uses is to make these cute little treat holders which I thought would be perfect as a part of my Halloween decorations. Each box is made from black card, spritzed with Distress Stain Spray<\/a> before being covered in Graphic 45, An Eerie Tale papers<\/a>. As finishing touches, I added die cut rosettes<\/a> and glittered bats and spiders<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n I was inspired by bright pink colored candy for these pages. And I love neon pink! Perfect combination. I started with building up the background with washi tape, and the Distress Marker Spritzer<\/a> in combination with the Latticework<\/a> stencil. The little Bats<\/a> and the Webs<\/a> are so much fun and gives the pages the Halloween vibe!<\/em><\/p>\n

Ashli<\/a> is ready for some Christmas crafting!<\/p>\n

Every year, I attend a fabulous cookie swap. This year, I want to have an extra special treat bag to put the hostess’s cookies in. After playing around with a lovely We R Memory Keepers Embossing Folder<\/a> on a simple brown bag, I added some Hero Arts White Ink<\/a> and played with a bit of Gelatos<\/a> to enhance the design. A playful prize banner made of scraps top the bag off nicely while the sequins add the perfect finishing touch!<\/em><\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a Halloween treat bag for her children.<\/p>\n

My children asked me to make Halloween treat bags for them and I found that brown bags are very easy to create with Halloween theme. I distressed the edges of the bag and most of the embellishments with black Distress Paint<\/a>. The sentiment and the cute image were cut out from Holtz Idea-ology Paper Stash Sensonal<\/a>. <\/span><\/span>I also added some fun elements such as Rosette Flowers<\/a>, a clip and a Seam Binding ribbon.<\/em><\/p>\n
