Having recently bought a vintage typewriter Anne<\/a> was inspired to make her Grunge It Up project using a Tim Holtz Retro Type Bigz Die<\/a> along with his Idea-ology Divided Drawers<\/a> to create a ‘Grungy Vignette’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> grunged up a tin using some Tim Holtz products. She distressed some pieces of Junk Drawer Baseboards<\/a> and added a sentiment from the Theories<\/a> stamp set. She couldn’t have finished this product without her trusty Crop-a-dile<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> had such fun making this grungy tag. She used Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink <\/a>for the background. The Scribbly Butterfly die cut by Tim Holtz<\/a> was embossed with various embossing powders. The pretty flowers were die cut with the SSS Etched Flower Buds die<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> creates a pair of tags inspired by the grunge style. She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 9<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil Mini set 2<\/a>, Ranger Distress Resist Spray<\/a>, Ranger Embossing Glaze Speckled Egg<\/a>, Idea-ology Paper Dolls<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a grungy tag with a background using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Decayed<\/a> Layering Stencil and Matte Distress Texture Paste<\/a>. She stamped an image from the Purveyor<\/a> stamp set and finished her card with some Vintage Flair<\/a>, Ephemera<\/a> and Type Chips<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element with this theme and created a panel From Regions Beyond<\/a>, using a couple of her favourite dies from the Sizzix Chapter 3 release by Tim Holtz. She used the Skelly Colorize Thinlits Die<\/a> and the Spider Web<\/a> to add texture and dimension and combined these with a pair of hands, stamped using the Cadaverous Stamp Set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created an Art Journal page featuring the grumpy “full of attitude” owl Arthur<\/a> from Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Chapter 3 Colorize Collection. She used images from Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Mr Bones<\/a> and Idea-ology Typeset Collage Paper<\/a> to add interest on her Distress Oxide Spray background and Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Lower<\/a>, Shadow Numbers<\/a> and Label<\/a> Thinlits for the wording. Apologies for the mis-spell, there are 3 t’s in attitude, obviously Arthur was not paying attention in the English class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a grungy background by applying several layers of paints and stamping and embossing the Tim Holtz Glitch 2<\/a> stamps. She added the Tim Holtz Digits stencil<\/a> and Wildflower Stems 1 die<\/a> covered with Tim Holtz Distres Embossing Glazes<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made a trio of grungy Artist Trading Cards, using Seth Apter stamps like Paper Artsy Eclectica3 Seth Apter Mini46 <\/a>and Seth Apter Mini47<\/a>. She also used a wide variety of Paper Artsy Fresco Finish paints such as Toffee<\/a>, Taro Milk Tea<\/a> and South Pacific<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Cling Stamp Crackle Background<\/a> on the background and decorated it with Prima Marketing Rusty Knobs Finnabair Mechanicals<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Chips<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made her first Halloween card of the season and had lots of fun creating her bat cave. She used the Bat Crazy die set<\/a>, and Grit-Paste<\/a> for creating texture. For the colors she used Distress Ink Rusty Hinge<\/a>, Vintage Photo<\/a>, Ground Espresso<\/a> and Black Soot<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used a bunch of Distress Paint<\/a> to add color to the background, she also used a variety of Tim Holtz Layering Stencil<\/a> to create some interest. To add some grungy vibes she used a combination of Cosmic Shimmer IRON AGE Mixed Media Embossing Powder<\/a> and Ranger HAMMERED Mixed Media Powder<\/a>. The final touch was adding the paper doll<\/a> that is so perfect for this Snarky Small Talk Stickers<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
