Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Play With Paint Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to add a feathered friend or maybe you could interpret the theme as an early morning sunrise, or maybe you can think of something else!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Birds <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheila<\/a> created this vibrant tropical card using Dina Wakley’s Media Collage Collective Book<\/a> pages, My Favorite Things Cross Stitch Tag Die-Namics<\/a>, Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered Florals<\/a>, and a little floral bling from Pretty Pink Posh Sequins<\/a>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a card celebrating early birds, the sun rising and the hope that a new day brings. She used Altenew’s Mid-Century Frame Die<\/a> as well as some great images from Dina Wakley’s original Collage Collective<\/a> and her Collage Collective 2, Volume 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a card with a blocked Distress Ink background, stamped with flowers from Simon Says Stamp Thoughtful Flowers<\/a>. The bird was die cut with Tim Holtz Feathered Friends set <\/a>and the pretty branches are die cut with the SSS Leafy Branch die.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> got her inspiration from the super colorful tropical birds. She used Tim Holtz Feathered Friends Thinlits<\/a>, Tim Holtz Funky Floral 3<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text CMS 394<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stencils Mini Set 26<\/a> and a lot of Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Ink pads<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> used her new favorite bird die the Tim Holtz Sizzix Colorize Arthur<\/a>. She cut him out of different hues of blue from the Classic Kraft Stock Paper Stash and placed him on a background of stars cut with the Sizzix Falling Stars<\/a> die . She added the spectacles from Santa\u2019s Wish<\/a> and completed her card with a sticker from the Idea-ology Big Talk Snarky<\/a> stickers pack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> believes it’s never to early to start creating Halloween projects and she used the Sizzix Feathered Friends<\/a> and Funky Wreath<\/a> Thinlits Dies by Tim Holtz to create an Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag<\/a> inspired by all things mysterious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> believes it’s never too early to make a start on your Christmas cards, better to be an early bird than a rushing at the last-minuter, although she don’t always practice what she preaches. She used Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Winter Wardrobe<\/a>, Stacked Tiles Triangles<\/a> Thinlits from the Chapter 3 release, Idea-ology Worn Wallpaper<\/a> and Clippings Stickers<\/a> on her Winter themed card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> got inspired by the trushes nest found at the summer house and made this card using Stamperia Cosmos<\/a> paper and several shades of brown in Distress Oxid<\/a>es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura’s<\/a> been listening to lovely bird songs, and created a garden scene for Tim Holtz’s Feathered Friends<\/a>, using Simon Says Stamp’s Thoughtful Flowers<\/a> and Inky Antic’s Branching Out <\/a>stamps, along with lots of Daniel Smith watercolors<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Rose Inky Antics Paper<\/a> on the background of the tag and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Geo Spring Tim Thinlits Die<\/a> and Prima Marketing Flowers<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> had fun playing with the Bird Crazy stamp set<\/a> and coloring this crazy bird in with Distress Reinker Weathered Wood<\/a>, Broken China<\/a> and Walnut Stain<\/a>. For the background she used Liquid Acrylics Burnt Sienna<\/a>, Distress Paint Weathered Wood<\/a> and Metallique Paint Stormy Ocean<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Tim Holtz Distress Paint<\/a> and Distress Crayons<\/a> to color the background of her tag. She also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology TYPESET Collage Paper<\/a> to add some interest to the background and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil SPLOTCHES <\/a>for some more textures!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
