As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Dina Wakely<\/a>. You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Sheila Wy aka 216 Alchemy Lane  <\/a>into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheila<\/a> created a beautifully vivid mixed media wall art piece using Dina Wakley’s Ocean Chipboard Shapes<\/a> and a My Favorite Things Cross Stitch Rectangle Die<\/a>. She used Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks<\/a> and added some extra shimmer with Pretty Pink Posh Spring Flower Sequins<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> revamped the cover of her black Dyalog Insert Book<\/a> using Dina Wakley’s fabulous paints, her For the Love of Circles<\/a> stamp set, her Collage Words<\/a> and her Media Gloss Spray in Night<\/a> and Olive<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made an art journal page in Dina Wakley’s Blue Edition Media Journal<\/a> this week. The colorful background was painted with Dina’s Media Acrylic Paint<\/a> and misted with White Gloss Spray<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This week Barbara<\/a> has moved out of her comfort zone! She was inspired by the summer to create two tags with Dina Wakley’s stamp set Scribbly Fishies<\/a>. To color the backgrounds she used Dina Wakley Ocean<\/a>, Lime<\/a>, Blushing Media Acrylic paints<\/a>, Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks media<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Bubbles<\/a> and Leafy<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> used Dina Wakley Media Scribble Sticks<\/a> with a wet paintbrush to paint in her floral images from the Stampers Anonymous Good Idea<\/a> set onto Dina’s Cotton Watercolor Paper<\/a> . For her background, she used Gloss Sprays<\/a> in Lemon, Lime and Turquoise through a stencil, added a bit of stitching, and a bit of Scribble Stick Splatter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element with this challenge and used Dina Wakley’s Night<\/a> and Buff Acrylic Media paints<\/a> to create a vintage style journal page in her Dina Wakley Blue Edition Media Journal<\/a>. She added a swathe of gold stars to the background using the Tim Holtz Hocus Pocus Layering Stencil<\/a> and die cuts from the Ornamental Birds Die Set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created an Art Journal Page in her Dina Wakley Blue Edition Media Journal<\/a> using Dina Wakley Media Collage Collective Book<\/a>, Collage Papers<\/a> and Paints<\/a>, Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Splotches<\/a> and Grime<\/a> Layering Stencils and Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Lower Thinlits <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> got painty in her art journal with Dina Wakley paints like Ruby<\/a>, Lapis<\/a> and White<\/a>, then added in a face collage from Dina’s Collage Paper Faces. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Scales<\/a> on the background and colored it with Dina Wakley Ranger Peacock Acrylic Paint <\/a>and Eggplant Acrylic Paint<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra <\/a>played with the Dina Wakely Acrylic Gloss Sprays Lemon<\/a> and Magenta <\/a>and used the Dina Wakely Spaced Dots stencil<\/a> to add some texture. She added more color using Liquid Acrylics paint Magenta <\/a>and True Yellow<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used Dina Wakley Paint<\/a> (Lemon<\/a>, Lime <\/a>and Magenta<\/a>) to decorate the background of the tag. She used the Gel Plate small brayer<\/a> to apply the paint and Dina Wakley white gesso<\/a> to create the white area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
