Hi there! Mona Pendleton<\/a> here to show you how to create an Ombre colored canvas using the following products: stains<\/a>, texture paste<\/a> and stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep1\"<\/p>\n

To begin, I applied Gesso to a burlap canvas and allow to dry.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep2\"<\/p>\n

To add texture and design to the background, apply texture paste to stencil and allow to dry.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep3\"<\/p>\n

Prime embellishments using Gesso and allow to dry.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep4\"<\/p>\n

Adhere embellishments to canvas using Gel medium.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep5\"<\/p>\n

To create an Ombre background, start at the bottom of canvas applying darkest color first. For my project, I started with Dusty Concord Distress Ink.<\/p>\n

For the next shade, I mixed a small amount of Dusty Concord Distress Ink with Gesso, then applied to canvas.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep7\"<\/p>\n

Next I added a layer of Milled Lavender Distress Ink.<\/p>\n

\"SSSOStep8\"<\/p>\n

Repeat Step 5, substituting with Dusty Concord with Milled Lavender Distress Ink. Then I completed the canvas with a stamped sentiment.<\/p>\n
