Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for joining us for the Scene Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are challenging you to made something that is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not A Card<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you may know, the  Simon Says Stamp Store<\/a> is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!

It is Tracey’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tracey <\/a>adores grungy rusty patina and applied these gorgeous colors to her tag featuring the Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Butterfly Die<\/a>\u00a0colored with Distress Inks<\/a> and Embossing Glazes<\/a> along with her background created with Tim’s Elegant 3D Texture Fade<\/a>. She used more of the Glazes <\/a>to color the Lace Baseboard Frame<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> created a vintage sketchbook for documenting nature outings. It was made using Tim Holtz Salvaged Baseboards <\/a>and decorated with Field Notes<\/a> and Field Notes Snippets ephemera<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> this week was inspired to different techniques by Tim Holtz! she created a trio of masculine and grungy tags with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous The Professor<\/a>, Watch guy<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stencil Screwed<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Brickwork<\/a>, Ranger Distress Embossing Glaze Antique Linen<\/a> and Rusty Hinge.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a card inspired by the Remnant Rub resist technique from TIm Holtz. She used Specimen Remnant Rubs <\/a>and Distress Spray stains<\/a> in her favorite bright colors and added some Sizzix Scribbly Butterflies<\/a> and a Theories Quote Chip<\/a> to finish her bold tag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was inspired by a craft room clear out and after finding an abundance of offcuts of paper from the Tim Holtz Memoranda Paper Stash<\/a> and Worn Wallpaper<\/a> set, she chose to use these in conjunction with the Stacked Circles Thinlits Dies<\/a> to create a layout in her Dina Wakley Media Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a tag shaped book to store her 2020 Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Layering Stencils<\/a> and decorated the covers using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Memoranda Paper<\/a> and Field Notes Ephemera<\/a>, Stampers Anonymous Flower Shop<\/a> and Faded Type<\/a> and added texture using Weathered Wood Distress Embossing Glaze<\/a> and Walnut Stain Distress Crayon<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a>made a notebook using a Tim Holtz Large Stems Bigz Die<\/a>. For the background she used a Botanical Cling Stamp <\/a>and Black Archival Ink<\/a>, randomly stamping on yellow paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> went rusty and grungy with her tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Gears<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Filament Bigz<\/a> die and Prima Marketing Firebird Metallique Wax<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> headed to her art journal and created a home sweet home theme with Simon Says Stamp’s Spring Gnomes set<\/a> and Mushroom House stencil<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps 2020 Faded Type<\/a> on the background and decorated it with Prima Marketing Grungy Butterflies Finnabair Mechanicals<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a tag using Liquid Acrylics in the colors Emerald<\/a>, Deep Turquoise<\/a>, Burnt Sienna<\/a> and Carmine<\/a>. She started with collaging Collage Paper Typeset<\/a> and all kind of scraps and added texture with Texture Paste<\/a> and the Digits stencil<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> made this tag mixing a bunch of Distress Paint<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology BOTANICAL Collage Paper<\/a> fro the background. Words from Tim Holtz Idea-ology THEORIES Quote Chips<\/a> were perfect to decorate this tag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
