Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we are having fun with Steampunk!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steampunk<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definition: a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ann<\/a> feels a need to makeher heart stronger at this difficult time. She created a card with a lot of  Distress Oxide Sprays<\/a>, D<\/a>apper <\/a> and Inventor<\/a> Stamp Sets by Tim Holtz, Gadget Gears and  Faceted Heart<\/a> Die Sets and a Texture Fades Embossing Folder<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> celebrated the creativity of the steampunk movement with her quirky flying machine tag. She used Stamplistic’s Cogworks<\/a> paper, Seth Apter’s Izink Ice Whiskey Frost Glaze Finish<\/a>, and Tim Holtz’s Photobooth<\/a> images, Urban Layers<\/a>, and Noble Gent<\/a> stamp set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> created a hopeful steampunk bird. She used Tim Holtz Patchwork Bird die<\/a>, together with embossing folders<\/a>, foil tape<\/a> and Distress Embossing Glaze<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> created an Etcetera tag<\/a> using Tim Holtz Sizzix Industrial Bigz die<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Numeric<\/a>, Tim Holtz Ranger Embossing Glaze<\/a> in various colors and Tim Holtz Distress paste Crackle Ranger Ink.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> used the Tim Holtz Stamper’s Anonymous Evolution<\/a> stamps along with a background of Distress Inks and Tailor and Houndstooth<\/a> stamp. She added a Theories Quote Chip<\/a> (covered with Weathered Wood Embossing Glaze)<\/a>, Hardware Heads<\/a> and plenty of Mini Gears<\/a> and Sprocket Gears<\/a> to her card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element creating a circular panel packed full of steampunk elements. She used Tim Holtz’s Inventor 2 stamp set<\/a> as the focal point inside a Steampunk Parts<\/a> die cut frame before surrounding the image with some rusty, crusty cogs and gears, all die cut using the Industrial Bigz XL Die<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a Nature themed Art Panel with a hint of steampunk using the new Tim Holtz Alcohol<\/a> and Alcohol Alloy<\/a> inks, Distress Embossing Glazes<\/a>, Faded Type<\/a> and The Professor 2<\/a> stamp sets and Idea-ology Field Notes Ephemera<\/a> and a Theories Quote Chip<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a>made a steampunk card using a Tim Holtz<\/a> Robotic Thinlets Die Set<\/a> and a Foundry 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> apparently likes robots so she built this one using resin castings from Prima Marketing MECAHNICA mould<\/a>. To make him cuter she gave him a flower using Tim Holtz Sizzix WILDFLOWER STEMS 1<\/a> dies and put it in the smallest bottle of Tim Holtz Sizzix BOTTLED UP<\/a> die. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> went down the steampunk rabbit hole this week with Tim Holtz’s Bunny Hop die set<\/a>, the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous The Professor stamps<\/a>, Paper Artsy’s Rusty Car Infusions<\/a>, and a few gears. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Brutus Monroe Steampunk Clear Stamp<\/a> and embellished it with Prima Marketing Machine Parts Finnabair Mechanicals<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quotations Metallic Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> was inspired by the new Tim Holtz Urban Layers ephemera<\/a>, and used it for her Urban Steampunk card. She started with the Faded Type stamp set<\/a> and used a thick layer of Glossy Accents<\/a> on one the Urban Layer pieces, and added Distress Crackle Rock Candy<\/a> on top of it when it was dry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> had so much fun mixing different embossing powder<\/a> with distress paint <\/a>to create this rust effect. She also used Prima Marketing Moulds<\/a> and Prima Marketing Modeling Material<\/a> to create these gears that adds up some more textures!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
