Tag It!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it\u2019s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand\/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz<\/a>! You don\u2019t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Ann Chuang<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ann<\/a> created a beautiful\u00a0Tim Holtz Etcetera Mini Tag Thickboard<\/a>\u00a0this week using\u00a0Distress Oxide Spray<\/a>.\u00a0For the background, she used the\u00a0Fragments Stamp Set<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Crackle Paste<\/a>. The\u00a0Lace Baseboard Frames<\/a> were decorated with Adornments Floral<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Baseboard Dolls<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a tri-fold tag envelope that holds a tiny tag notebook inside. She used some of her favorite classic Tim products such as the Stacked Tags<\/a> die, the Tag Collection<\/a> die, the Wildflower<\/a> die, Big Chat<\/a> stickers and Paper Dolls<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> created a tag with a textured, yet neutral, background and a colorful bird made with Tim Holtz Patchwork Bird die<\/a>. The bird was stamped with various background stamps, such as the Ledger Script<\/a>. She used Tim’s Latticework stencil<\/a> for the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this challenge, Barbara<\/a> is in her comfort zone using Tim Holtz products to create a steampunk tag!!  She used an Etcetera Tag Mini<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Faded Type<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Victorian<\/a>, Ranger Ink Embossing powder Garden Patina<\/a> and Mixed Media Sea<\/a>, Idea-ology Baseboard Frames<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a Mini Etcetera Tag using Distress Spray Stains<\/a>, Distress Embossing Glaze<\/a> and the Tiny Text<\/a> and Grunged<\/a> stamps. She embellished her tag with a Found Relative, a Chipboard Frame, Ruler Pieces<\/a> and a piece of Metallic Kraft Core cut with the Sizzix Star Trim 3D Impresslits.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> created a double layered tag project using the Small<\/a> and Medium Etcetera Tags<\/a>, painted with Distress Paints<\/a> to give a textured effect on the background. She used Tim Holtz’s The Professor 2 stamp set<\/a> as the focal point, surrounding him with Corked Vials<\/a> and Sprocket Gears<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decorated a Medium Etcetera Tag<\/a> to say thanks to Tim Holtz “The Professor” for his “What If” inquisitive mind and his latest release of exciting and innovative products. She used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous The Professor 2<\/a>, Grunged<\/a> and Glitch 1<\/a> with Distress Embossing Glazes<\/a>, Sizzix Alphanumeric Classic Upper Thinlits<\/a>, an Idea-ology Quote Chip<\/a>, Stencil Chip<\/a> and Measurement<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> kept her card brown and green for a vintage look. She stamped the background with several Tim Holtz Inventor stamps<\/a> and used some Tim Holtz Idea-ology<\/a> metal parts. She finished the details using Tim Holtz Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> made two fun-loving tags to put in an art journal, using the Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Snarky Cat stamp set,<\/a> Tim Holtz Distress Resist Spray<\/a>, and Distress Oxide Sprays in Twisted Citron<\/a>, Mermaid Lagoon<\/a>, and Seedless Preserves. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Cut Out Leaves Thinlits Die Set<\/a> on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quotations Metallic Stickers<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> had lots of fun making this tag using lots of Tim Holtz products, she used Distress Ink Faded Jeans<\/a> and Ground Espresso<\/a> for the background and for the main focus she used the The Professor stamp set<\/a>, and gave it a dimential element with the Circle Shaker Pouch<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey <\/a>as always used a mix of distress paint<\/a> with gesso<\/a> to create this fun background. She also used Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Stitches<\/a> to create some details and then to mute down the color she used Tim Holtz Plain Collage Paper<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
