Cristina <\/a>started from a photo that reminded her of a special day spent with a dear friend and she decided to ‘frame’ this moment in time. She used a canvas as the base and from there she let her imagination and creativity run free. To create the background she used a Finnabair Stencil<\/a> with Distress Texture Paste Matte<\/a>, and colored the canvas with the Metallique Acrylic Colors.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> layered circles to frame the center of her scrap tag mini book. She used Inky Antics’ Circles and Frames<\/a> stamp set, Tim Holtz’s Sizzix Stacked Tags<\/a> thinlits dies and Dina Wakley’s Collage Collective<\/a> book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a tag this week, using a favorite frame stamp from Tim Holtz Mini Ornates set<\/a>. She also embossed the Simon Says Stamp Daisy Stem<\/a> and Circle Loops<\/a> die cuts with Ranger’s Mixed Media powders<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> altered an Idea-ology Vignette Tray<\/a> creating a frame with Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Lattice Trim<\/a> and Mixed Media Thinlits die<\/a>. For her background she used Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Roses<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Faded Type<\/a> and Tim Holtz Mini stencil set 5<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a frame around her Tim Holtz Sizzix Doodle Art die<\/a> cut to create a simple and colorful card and placed it over a panel of Yupo Paper <\/a>colored with Ranger Alcohol Inks<\/a>. She finished her card with a stamp from the Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text<\/a> set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was inspired by the famous painting, The Son of Man by Rene Magritte and used the Framed Panel<\/a> and Mini Framed Panels<\/a> to create her project. She used the Distinguished stamp set from Tim Holtz<\/a> as a focal point and layered it on a background stamped with the Mini Glitch Set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created an Art Journal page using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Faded Type<\/a>, Distress Embossing Glazes<\/a>, Doodle Art 1 Layering Stencil<\/a> and Distress Translucent Grit Paste <\/a>to create interest and texture on the background. She created framed portraits using Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Geo Frames <\/a>and Idea-ology Found Relatives<\/a>, tinted with Distress Embossing Glazes using a Distress Embossing Pen<\/a>. She used Wildflower Stems 1 <\/a>Thinlits to die-cut the flowers and Alphanumeric 1″ Tall<\/a> Thinlits for the Friends banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a very dimensional frame using as a base one of the Tim Holtz Baseboard frames<\/a> and several fragments of resin shapes from Prima Marketing moulds<\/a>. She stamped the background with Tim Holtz Fragments<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> let her imagination run wild to create a steampunk Time Machine, framed with a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Flip Frame.<\/a> She used The Professor stamp set by Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymou<\/a>s, along with Darkroom Door’s Time Machine stamp<\/a> and Stamperia’s Steampunk stencil.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media home decor using Prima Marketing Frame Memory Hardware<\/a> and decorated it with Prima Marketing Cotton Candy Dulce Flowers<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Paper Dolls<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a framed card and added lots of metallic touches to it with using Gold Embossing Powder<\/a> on the wet Texture Paste<\/a>, Metallique Wax<\/a> and Metallique Paint<\/a>. She also made spray out of Liquid Acrylics Burnt Sienna<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used her favorite distress paint<\/a> and distress paint oxide <\/a>to create this rusty background on her tag. She also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology FOUND RELATIVES<\/a> as her focus image and framed it behind a piece of acetate<\/a>. To add some more interest to the tag she used Tim Holtz Idea-ology NUMBER Tokens<\/a>, Tim Holtz Idea-ology TINY ATTACHER Stapler Tool Mini Staples<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Stickers<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
