This week we are challenging you to use crackle paint, cracked glass\/porcelain, broken pieces etc, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cristina <\/a>made a small box designed for Valentine’s Day where you can hold a gift voucher.I thought about the theme and I was inspired to create a crackle’ background using Distress Crackl\u00e8 Paint Rock Candy<\/a> and pieces of glass for the heart that I then colored with the help of Ranger’s Alchool Ink.<\/a>I created the brick effect with the PrimaMarketing Impasto Paint and the base of Finnabair’s Heavy Gesso Black<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> tore and cut up pieces of a bigger collage to make these terrific tiny tags. She used Pinkfresh Studio’s Fillable Tag with Pocket<\/a> dies, Inky Antics’ Color Wheel<\/a> stamp set, and Tim Holtz’s Photobooth<\/a> folks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a lighthouse tag with a sky made of Ranger’s Opaque Crackle Paste<\/a>. The sea is also crackled in a sense, because is is covered with Tim Holtz Mica Flakes<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> loves so much to use Ranger Crackle Paste<\/a> on the edges of her projects! She created a tag to encourage all people to tell their stories. Tim Holtz Sizzix Retro Type <\/a>and Alphanumeric Tiny Type Upper<\/a> are perfect for this work! She added Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Halftone Stencil<\/a> and  Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Filed Notes stamp set<\/a> to complete this Etcetera Tag<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a Valentine card with using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Bottled Up<\/a> die along with Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint<\/a> to make some fun vases for her heart bouquets. She used the Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text<\/a> stamps, stamping the entire set as a background and added little felt hearts cut from the Falling Hearts<\/a> dies to create her “flowers”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element with this theme and she created a vintage style home decor project featuring a Baseboard Doll<\/a> as the focal point and using plenty of Tim Holtz Crackle Paste<\/a> and Rock Candy Crackle Paint<\/a> to add texture and cracks to her Cathedral Window Frame<\/a> and Vignette Panels<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> created a card for a cat loving friend with a sense of humour. The fun image from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Snarky Cat <\/a>and sentiment from the Idea-ology Snarky Small Talk Stickers<\/a> will crack her up. She also added a little subtle crack-le using the Tim Holtz Bubbles Layering Stencil<\/a> with Ranger Opague Crackle Texture Paste<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> crackled up a pair of butterflies from Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Butterfly<\/a> die using Ranger Texture Paste Opaque Crackle<\/a> and put them on a panel stamped and embossed with Simon Says Stamp You Are Background<\/a> stamp. She used Stamperia Music<\/a> 12×12 paper pad for her base. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> cracked up over these fun-loving Yoga Frogs. She made four ATC’s using the Stampendous Frog Yoga<\/a> stamp set, Simon Says Stamp’s Flora stenci<\/a>l, a mix of Distress Paints including Twisted Citron<\/a>, and topped them with Ranger Clear Candy Crackle. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint<\/a> on the background and decorated it with Prima Marketing Toronto Fruit Paradise Flowers<\/a> and Steampunk Gears Finnabair Mechanicals<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a crackly heart birthday card, using Crackle Texture Paste<\/a> with the Grime stencil<\/a>, and the Faceted Heart die<\/a> and added Crackle Paint Rock Candy<\/a> over it.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoey<\/a> used the awesome set of Daniel Smith Ultimate Mixing Hand Poured Watercolor<\/a> and a bit of Distress Ink Black Soot Refill<\/a> to decorate the background of this tag- To add some cracks she used Ranger TEXTURE PASTE OPAQUE CRACKLE<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
