Claudia<\/a> customized a cardboard desk tidy to turn in into one that fits her style and makes an impact on her work desk. She used Emerald Creek Embossing Powders<\/a> alongside Tim’s Voltage Die<\/a> to create a grungy, rusty storage for her craft tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> paid homage to rust in her Dina Wakley White Media Journal<\/a>. She used a fabulous sentiment from Inky Antics’ Encouraging Words<\/a> stamp set as her focal point and used lots of stencils, including Altenew’s Bubble Wrap<\/a> and Dina Wakley’s Petals<\/a>, for the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> created a tag with several different rusty techniques. She used three embossing powders by Ranger: Hammered<\/a>, Sea<\/a> and Mint Chip<\/a>, in combination with Tim Holtz’s Scallop Shifter Stencil<\/a> and Faceted Heart die set<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> this week had much fun to create lots of rusty textures! She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil Flourish<\/a>, Seth Apter Chunky Rust powder<\/a>, Ranger Ink Garden patina Embossing Powder<\/a>, Nuvo Expanding Mousse Seed<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Butterfly<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a rusty Typewriter featuring the new Retro Type<\/a> die and a tiny heart from the Falling Hearts<\/a> dies. She used Rust Effect Paste<\/a>, Fossilized Amber<\/a> and Rusty Hinge<\/a> Distress Paint to create the Distress effect on her typewriter. Her background was created with images from the Stampers Anonymous Documented <\/a>set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> was in her element creating a rusty Mini Etcetera Tag<\/a> and used a combination of Distress Paints, Grit Paste<\/a> and Chunky Rust Embossing Powder<\/a> to create the effect on the Sizzix Voltage Die by Tim Holtz<\/a>, and her background that uses the Mechanics 3D Embossing Folder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> decorated a Tim Holtz\/Sizzix BigZ XL Curio Box<\/a> using Pattern Repeat Thinlits <\/a>to create rusty chicken wire and added rust coloured butterflies from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Botanical Layers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a non typical Valentive’s Day card using Tim Holtz Sizzix Faceted Heart<\/a> die, some resin gears made with Prima Marketing Mechanica<\/a> mould and quite much of Prima Marketing Rust<\/a> pastes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> loves her rust and steampunk, so she combined them in her ATC’s. She used Paper Artsy’s Seth Apter 10 Eclectica3<\/a> stamps, Emerald Creek’s Chunky Rust Embossing Powder<\/a>, and Stamperia’s Mechanical Sea World<\/a> papers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia <\/a>was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Paper Stash Abandoned<\/a> on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea- Ology Keyholes Key Hardware<\/a> and Ornate Plates<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> had fun grunging up the Faceted Heart die<\/a> using Distress Oxide Vintage Photo<\/a>, Metallique Waxes<\/a> and Lava Paste. And building up the background with Distress Ink and Oxide along with Metallique Paints<\/a>.

Zoey<\/a> used her favorite combination of Distress Ink<\/a> to create this rust effect , she also used Ranger Perfect Pearls PERFECT GOLD Powder<\/a> to add some Gold Accents and Tim Holtz Idea-ology STENCIL CHIPS<\/a> to decorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
