This week we are welcoming back the lovely Alison Bomber aka Words and Pictures<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alison : <\/a>The best way to celebrate a birthday is to crack open the bubbly.  Rather than actual champagne, Alison has been playing with lots of different bubbles for this pair of birthday cards.  There are background bubbles created with the Simon Says Stamp Polka Dot Stencil<\/a>, punched bubbles, splattered bubbles, and sequin bubbles using the Simon Says Stamp Lucky Shamrock Sequins.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> made a birthday tag and envelope using Simon Says Stamp’s Gift Card Envelope<\/a> die, Oh Happy Day<\/a> die,  and the ever-useful Falling Snow<\/a> stencil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made three birthday cards using Simon Says Stamp’s beautiful Gerbera Daisy Background stamp<\/a>. The sentiment was die cut with the SSS Celebrate word<\/a>, and stamped with Tiny Words Birthday<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> is happy to celebrate Simon’s Birthday with a summer colorful tag! She used Simon Says Stamp Triangle Element Wafer Die<\/a>,  Simon Says Stamp set Floral Bliss<\/a>, Tim Holtz Tattered Butterfly,<\/a> Ranger Distress Ink Spray Stain  Blueprint sketch<\/a>, Peacock feather<\/a>, Twisted citron<\/a>, Squeezed lemonade<\/a>, and various Ranger Alcohol Inks<\/a> to paint the butterfly. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a birthday card using two of her Simon Favorites: CZ Design Birthday Palooza<\/a> and Waves Background Cling painted in with her favorite colors of Distress Oxides<\/a>. She finished her card with a Paper Doll <\/a>and some Snarky Small Talk<\/a> stickers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma<\/a> created a birthday card using the Filigree Wreath<\/a> Die to create a background for her bouquet of Wildflower Stems<\/a>. She completed the card with a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips<\/a> and Strawberry Shortcake Sequins<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath<\/a> used a simple Distress Oxide ink<\/a> watercolour technique to create a card to celebrate our 9th Birthday with two of her favourite products, the Beautiful Flowers<\/a> stamp set and Circular Lace Stencil<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena<\/a> made a colorful card using Simon Says Stamp Sketched Flowers<\/a> stamp completed with Simon Says Stamp Outlina Clustered Leaves<\/a> die. She went crazy making her background full of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide<\/a> and standard inks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> was singing happy birthday while working on her card, using the Simon Says Stamp Party Like a Panda<\/a> and Birthday Sweets <\/a>stamp sets, along with the Simon Says Stamp Diamond Circles<\/a> and Irregular Dots<\/a> stencils. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a watercolored birthday card using Daniel Smith Ultimate Mixing Watercolor<\/a> on Simon Says Stamp Suzy’s Succulents Watercolor Prints<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra<\/a> made a grungy birthday card using the Simon Says Stamp Big Birthday Wishes stamp set<\/a>, and Distress Oxide Spray to color the background and the Garden Greens<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
