Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever The Weather <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As it is the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a particular company or designer. This week we are all using products designed by the fabulous Tim Holtz <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! <\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Lisa aka My Room Of Mixed Media\u00a0<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog you are in for a real treat! Please pop by to say ‘Hi’ :-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa<\/a>\u00a0made a scrapbook card on a piece of watercolor cardstock. She stamped the background with\u00a0American Crafts Vicki Boutin Escape Field Notes Clear Stamps and Dies<\/a>\u00a0first with\u00a0Tsukineko Versamark Emboss Ink Pad<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ranger Embossing Powder Super Fine Clear<\/a>\u00a0for the bubbles, then with\u00a0Ranger Archival Ink Pad Jet Black<\/a>\u00a0for some details and the butterfly. She used also Distress Oxide to color the background and\u00a0Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chips Paperie<\/a>\u00a0for the sentiment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> has been surrounded by cold snowy weather for so long that it seemed the natural choice for this tag.  She used Tim Holtz’s Voltage die<\/a>, Stacked Tags die<\/a>, and Paper Dolls<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a cheerful art journal page about dancing in the rain, using a whole bunch of Tim Holtz products. Some of the stamps come from the Winged Things 1<\/a> and Good Thoughts<\/a> sets. She also used Tim’s Mixed Media 3<\/a> die set by Sizzix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara<\/a> has created a tag with all things Tim Holtz! She used an Etcetera tag<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 2<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Noble gent<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix  Voltage<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Industrial<\/a> and various Ranger Ink Distress paint.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a card with some motivation for a rainy day using lots of Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous stamps including: Mini Motivation <\/a> and Evolution<\/a> on a watercolored background using Peacock Feathers<\/a> Distress Ink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kath <\/a>created a whimsical page in her Dina Wakley 6″x6″ White Media Journal<\/a> using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Funny Farm<\/a>, Distinguished<\/a>, Stitches<\/a> and Blockprint<\/a> stamp sets and Hex Mini Layering Shifter Stencil<\/a>, a reminder to look on the bright side, whatever the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lols <\/a>is looking forward to warmer days and made a tag filled with summery sunshine. She used largest size in a Framelits Tags Die Set<\/a>, a Funky Florals 1 Die Set,<\/a> a Mini Detailed Butterfly<\/a> and a selection of Distress Oxide Ink Pads <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarena’s<\/a> robot assembled with Tim Holtz Sizzix Robotic<\/a> is rusting in the rain due to the Tim Holtz Sizzix Pipeline<\/a> connected to the Impression Obsession Clouds<\/a> and his leaky umbrella made from Tim Holtz Sizzix Globe<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maura<\/a> dreamed of spring while she worked on her tag, and watched another snowstorm out the window. She used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Optimist ATC stamp<\/a>, along with Tim’s Bubble Layering Stencil <\/a>and Woven stencil<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix Lumber 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder<\/a> for the texture on the background and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Pondering<\/a> for the sentiment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nSandra<\/a> can’t wait before spring is here, so she made a card to celebrate the beauty of spring by using lots of Tim Holtz products like Rays Stencil<\/a> with Crackle Texture Paste<\/a> and Mixed Media die set<\/a> to create texture, Distress Oxide in Broken China<\/a> and Peeled Paint<\/a> to add color and the Paper Dolls<\/a> for a fun element.

Zoey<\/a> used a bunch of distress paint<\/a> to decor this Tag<\/a>, she also used this sweet paper doll<\/a> and Tim Holtz stickers<\/a> to finish it off! She was inspired by the word “Shines” in the sentiment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
