Hi all and welcome to another week on the\u00a0Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n

Thank you for joining us for the Typography Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n

This week we would like you to think about wheels. This theme has so many interpretations, you might think about cars, bikes etc, or maybe what makes the wheels go around, cogs and gears, or maybe even the wheels of time! Lets get those cogs in our brains working!<\/p>\n

Things With Wheels<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0Lucyna\u00a0<\/a><\/span>made a tag I made for an abecedarian driver.\u00a0She used\u00a0\u00a0Kelly Creates Tracing Paper Pad<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Derwent 24 Inktense Colored Pencils Watercolor<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0 making this little car.<\/span>Ranger Archival Ink Pad Jet Black<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Tim Holtz Distress Mini Ink Pad Barn Door<\/a>\u00a0for stamping,.Couture Creations White 3D Foam Dots<\/a>\u00a0were used for mounting all together\u00a0 and one of\u00a0\u00a0Tim Holtz Idea ology 2015 Loop Pins<\/a>\u00a0 to embellish the tag.\"This<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> thought a bird on roller skates would be the perfect way to fulfill this week’s theme!\u00a0 She used Tim Holtz’s Tiny Houses die<\/a>, Inky Antics’ Roller Bird<\/a> stamp, and Derwent Inktense colored pencils<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a>‘s favorite thing with wheels is a bike, and she made a scrapbooking layout about a forest bike ride. The bike was stamped with a stamp from Tim Holtz Purely Random<\/a> set, and the fun circle shapes were die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Circle Loops<\/a> set.<\/p>\n

Spring is fast approaching! This week\u00a0<\/span>Barbara<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>created a decoration using\u00a0<\/span>Idea-ology Gadget gears findings\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>in an unusual way as the basis for her pot. Flowers arrangement has made with\u00a0<\/span>Tim Holtz Sizzix Wild flower stems 1<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Tim Holtz Sizzix Wild flower stems 2<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and she painted\u00a0 them with\u00a0<\/span>Distress oxides<\/a>. Final touch: her beloved Idea-Ology Paper Dolls.<\/a><\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> was inspired by the wheels and mechanisms inside a typewriter and used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 1 stamps<\/a> to create her card. The background is made using Distress Oxides and the Shifter Burst Layering Stencil<\/a> and finished with a Tim Holtz Ideaology Metallic Quotations<\/a> sticker.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>‘s project was inspired by one of her favourite books from childhood, The Flower Fairies and used Tim Holtz Vignette Boxes<\/a> and Mini Pulley Wheels<\/a> to create a vintage style home decor project complete with a Baseboard Paper Doll<\/a> and her fluttering transparent wings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> decorated an Idea-ology Mini Clipboard<\/a> with Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1<\/a> and used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Inventor 7<\/a>, BlockPrint<\/a>, Mini Stencil Set 41<\/a> and Sizzix Gearhead Thinlits<\/a> to add wheel elements on the background<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>decorated a couple of pages in her Dylusions Art Journal<\/a> using Visible Image ‘Ahead Of Our Time<\/a> and\u00a0 Somewhere In Time<\/a> Clear Stamp Sets and a Simon’s Exclusive Jazz Dance Stencil.<\/a> The wheels of time spin so quickly!\"This<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a> opted for a metal steering wheel from Prima St. Tropez<\/a> collection and a gave a texture with TCW Mini Specimens<\/a> stencil. She framed this sweet crab with one of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Baseboard Frames<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a>\u00a0turned Andrea’s stamp from the Inky Antics Color Wheel set\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0into 3D flowers. She made “leaves” with the Darkroom Door Paint Tubes stamp<\/a>\u00a0and added lots of bright color with Prima’s Oil Pastel Crayons.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create mixed media tag using <\/span>Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Mosaic<\/a> for the texture on the background and embellished with the stamped images using <\/span>Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Travel Way<\/a>s. \"\"<\/span>Sandra <\/a>focused on the wheels part like in the wheels of Gearhead die set<\/a>, she created some texture using the Mixed Media #6 die set<\/a>, and added some color with Infusions In The Navy<\/a> and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Storm Cloud<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Collector design tape<\/a>\u00a0and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Journey design tape<\/a>\u00a0to decor this tag. She also used a bunch of distress ink<\/a> to add color.<\/p>\n
